Think this is just a plot to make Jedi the ultimate class.

It would be nice if there was some advantage to the rest of us to stay non jedi, say like actually not getting nerfed into innefectiveness.

All this means is Medic, Doc,or CM arefinally the Most important part of any Combat template.

-Defence is finally worthless and the healing ability is now way overpowered.

Was'nt this where the game started? Defence used to mean nothing, they beefed it up, nerfed templating, and are nerfing it now a second time making defence worthless again? Is'nt this De ja vu?

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

Haha, melee sucks in StarWars?

Did you know that the Emperor's royal guards were some of the most feared warriors in the galaxy, who carried blasters but never had to use them?

They were so good they could take on just about anyone/thing except maybe a jedi knight.

Their force pikes were vibro blade tipped, they could run up to an ATAT and slice its legs off if they wanted to.

Saying melee sucks in StarWars is laughable.

With the advent of the personal shield generator, melee actually became more viable than blasters most of the time.

The swordsman however needs, what, 3x as many +spd skill tapes to cap his speed?

Swordsman can get up there pretty well, but its much easier for a rifleman to do it.

While I knew as soon as the posts started rolling in on this topic that it was actually a massive nerf of "game-balancing" proportions.... it's since been stated that it's a combat balance code... because they aren't going to be giving jedi's more accuracy now and be forced to decrease it later when the real combat balance hits....
as someone who has made countless defence templates.. I'll sum up what this is really doing:

Either,
"someone with great defences vs. someone with total newb crap accuracy will have his defences lowered so that the newb can hit them"
OR
"someone with great accuracy vs. someone with total newb defences will have his accuracy lowered so that the newb has a chance of avoiding being hit"

oh and as a bonus nerf, for you special riflemen out there.... from my understanding, conceal breaks when it misses... so now it doesn't matter how much accuracy you have... your conceal will break(and probably fairly quickly).... hmmmmmmm solo any krayts recently???? hope your rifleman is also a tank....

welcome to the "core combat change"....

oh I just read.. as an added bonus nerf for JEDI'S
Their ability to block incoming blaster fire has gone down.....
Somehow this makes it all worth it now....

and this makes it right? and, btw, never been able to solo a Kryat. It despawns first, or a Swordsman or TKM takes over. SO to make it right the answer is to kill bunnies now? Haven't we been through this already?

Doesn't look like a nerf to rifleman to me. Looks like how all classes work under the new system.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions.

Don't you think firing a rifle would be faster than swinging a two handed melee weapon?

Extras don't count in the "omg wut prof shuld be nurf3d???/?" list, sorry.
