I soloed my first elder yesterday with my rifleman/ranger. wasnt too hard....

used 90% NScomp 2800 buffs, and a 701 damage t21.. and he's speed capped.

I just stayed 20m away and HS3/MS2 the whole time with the occasional flurry and flushing to get states.

Not sure I will do it again though... only got 1590 credits for the effort LOL

I'm sorry but how did you kill three elders with out random bleeding one and making it agro on you. The most I've ever got off an uber creature was a krayt that i got half its health before a bleed agroed it. Did you just run and brake agro when you saw the bleed? Are you the luckiest man alive?

I did two of them the other day, back to back, and never random bled either of them.

Well I think stun stuck once, never could get dizzy though.

No point to dizzying anyways unless you were going to try for a suppression fire dizzy/kd. The odds of a suppression fire dizzy/kd on an elder are 1 in a million. Flushingshot for the stun reduces defenses which is very useful though, although it too is tough to land on an elder. Besides that, headshot3 all the way. On elders, you're usually kiting so using tons of strafes can be a recipe for disaster if you get into areas where there might be somethign else withing range to aggro.

i've never seen any states on an elder except intimidate (excluding dots)

Jedi can apply Stun/Dizzy/Blind to Elders.
