i dont do much pvp, but for pve its awesome, very few things that you have to switch to a regular energy rifle against, kimos are one with their 100% acid resist, but its a classic to use on most everything worth killing

I have more like 8, some with Krayt, some with Cubes, etc. I have various damage and speed stats.
I know there is nothing better then the feeling of this rifle in my hands and the smell of acid burned flesh in the air. mmmm mmmm good!

I was given a nice one for Christmas, trouble is Im now paranoid about using it having a rough idea how much it cost, more credits than I have in the bank most of the time lol.
Probably not much to everyone else but Im usually a broke CH/MR. Anyway anyone got any tips on the best way of looking aftermy nice new gleaming DXR-6 repair wise etc to makeit last as long as possible.

I use a Krayt'd DXR-6 for PVP and a regular model for PVE. If you keep the premium rifle only for use in PVP it should last you quite some time. I think I've had mine for 4 months now and just made its first repair about a week ago.

Yes always make sure you give it to a person who has the Force Sensitive Repair line - more often than not a MUCH better chance of success AND low degredation.

Per a post by ThunderHeart, you'll want to use the weapon untill you get as close to 25% remaining cond as possible before repairing it, without breaking that 25% line. Any cond over that, and you are repairing it too often, flipping the repair coin more often than you need to. Anything below that, and the weapon will take damage, and a successful repair will be less and less likely.

Where do you get the certification for the DXR? I didn't see it anywhere in marksman rifles or Rifleman.

I think it's in x-x-3(maybe 2)-x..they just conveniently took it out so people might forget.

I carry two with me...one'sa "crappy" 529 max that I swap to when I'm PvPing to strafe bases and such.
The other I used for awhile on anyone, but recently labeled it reserved for use on.......Jedi! Damn well heard me right. With a powerup, it's 431-1179, exceptional DXR6-B. Can hit Jedi for over 1k with it when I get through saber block. I do whip it out sometimes for general use though....its HAM costs are wonderfully low, so if I have to zerg (I don't like to, but I do sometimes) I can pop two Vercupeti and go back to owning.

You will need Counter-Sniping II to use the DXR-6. The description window on examining a DXR-6 will state this.

I like my DXR-6, I carry one with me at all times (great for the Geo Cave). But the T21 is still my primary weapon.
