I prefer the Advance Laser Rifle just because mine have around 540-1100 damage and the SAC is just 86 compared to the SAC of over 100 that most of my T21 have. And the laser have an accuracy bonus too.

if they choose to change rifleman at all though, such as increase our damage, i suspect it will be on a master rifleman gun i.e. t21

Hang on guys there is a difference, look at the wound percentages on both guns, you will be surprised. A t21's wound chance in closer to 30% while a laser rifle's is 15%. I would go with a t21 anyday my friend even if you find a laser rifle that has a higher dps, if the wound % is higher on the t21 than I game.

The wound % also dictates how effective the gun pierces armor, not only by how effective it is by dealing wounds.

Not true. I have a 1184 max Laser and a customer of mine has a 1179(?) T21 and I was doing more damage than him on the same Krayt (yes, I was looking at a fully detailed combat log with name of weapon, special attack, and armor absorption).

yes and no... weapons no longer have it but a skill called armor break reduces defences by a percentage allowing increased damage.


the maxs on the Ad Laser Rifle and the T-21 are exactly the same except for the max wound % where the T-21 is about 15x higher %

there will be differentiation in the future (may it come soon) and as the T-21 is the master weapon and the Advanced Laser is not it will be the one that gains the modifications and additions.

Since the servers aren't up yet I'll have to do this off the top of my head...


1) Control-o

2) Chat

3) Combat XXXXXX (can't remember what that word is)

4) Check it and you will see 3 more choosable options

5) Something like weapon name, special attacks (or just attacks), and armor absorption

As one who makes these:


Adv. Laser Rifle: Less krayt for enhancement (4), can be scoped (increased accuracy), Less specialized resources (better chance for maxing out stats)


T21: (6) tissue need, no scope, 4 specialized resources


Now, resources aren't much of a factor for me as I have the best of everything, but as one who hunts her own enhancers getting a set of 4 tisues with nice stats is more common than a set of six and there are more options for accuracy stats on the Adv. Laser Rifle.


That being said, if i have a nice set of 6 i'll make a t21 mostly because there are only about 5 or 6 weapons in demand anymore and i miss my variety
