Thread: Best Rifleman Xp after patch?
Bring A Friend.
It's when all the mobs in a group attack you regardless of whether you're under cover if you attack one of their mates.
The very special version of this is when they teleport to your position and they have 2HD swords.

Im very low level, so take this for what its worth. I found these things called Mound Mites on tattoine. I never really attacked them cause they are blue and I figured they were the usual 56 experience or whatever. Well they are like 270 experience (grouped)! They are incredibly easy, but they do baf. They usually die in one shot with a laser rifle.
Scyks also baf, but they are harder than mound mites. They give about 760 experience but take like 3 shots of a lowbie laser rifle.
I can take on a tusken bantha, but I usually get incapped once or twice.... ![]()
The tricky thing is that they're semi-social. Bulls are BAF, and will aggro on you if you shoot any other sharnaff within their awareness range. Female sharnaffs won't.
So the trick is to find a patch of sharnaff with only two bulls (sometimes you get lucky and find a group with just one bull, but that's rare). They don't deathblow, so target one of the bulls and hit it with Warning Shot. It'll run off, the other bull will come up and smash you. Pull out a book or your Gameboy or something and wait. When the incap timer wears off and you've recovered your health, you'll have one bull and a few non-aggro females. At this point, it's gravy. Kill the bull using your fave tactics for large, 10K HAM critters, then wait. Another bull will show up eventually. And voila. You've broken the spawn, and you can rake in the XP.
Torturs on Talus? They were working and Not BAF last time I checked. Also, Giant Dalyrakes, also on Talus, don't seem to BAF, and 2k hams give about 1200 xp, un grouped.
Also, I've found a decent technique for getting some xp: Run around near the edge of a aggro mob until one attacks you. RUN, and don't attack it until you are out of the MOBs' friends range. Then bust the thing open and keep it away with warning shots.
Works real good on Rebel NPCs, just pull one and blast away for and easy 2-3k xp off a 5k HAM npc ![]()

Ok do Kaadus on naboo!!!!
They don't Baf
They don't Aggro
They die in like 1 shot
They give you 400-600 exp a shot
Thier lairs like spawn a butt load of em, use mission terminals to spawn them if you have trouble finding them.
That's easy exp
Torturs, Fambaas, and bolle bols all nowBAF. So do Giant Peko Pekos, and I believe the regular variety as well.
My suggestion is to look for the rogue varieties of Fambaas. Being rouge, they are usually by themselves so there is no chance of BAF. Being aggressive, they also yield more XP than their social cousins. I believe I was getting 3600 for regular Fambaas pre-patch, but the last rouge Fambaa I killed gave me a little over 3900 XP. Use concealshot and watch your misses (going peace for a time if you do miss), and they are good XP. For the more adverturous, Plains Hunters yield more XP (4300?). They are also found by themselves so there is no fear of BAF. However, they are also farmore dangerous as they are very aggressive and they willDB you everytime. Again, concealshot and a lot of patience will bring these beasts down pretty safely, though you may need to stop and regen mind once to do so.
Both varieties of Pekos are worth a shot because it is not unsual to find them out on their own. The regulars will yield far less XP (800 or so?), but are easier to kill. The Giants will yield at least twice that, but I forget how much at the moment.
All except the Torturs mentioned are residents of Naboo, by the way.
Another suggestion I heard may help even on the higher level BAF types. If you can find a group of non-aggressives and move into the middle of them, you can get them to scatter. This is apparently especially true of packs that have scouts. Being non-agressive, they will not attack you, and you may be able to chase one away from the herd. Get it far enough away from the others, and you can kill it safely, then rinse and repeat.
I have not tried this yet, so I cannot attest to it's usefulness, but it is a thought, anyway. I am pretty sure this will work with Peko Pekos (any variety) 'cause those suckers will fly a hundred meters or so away if you spook them. There has been many a time I have gotten set to shoot only to have to get up and run a hundred meters to catch up with one that suddenly decided to be somewhere else. ![]()
