Heh....I never really had much problem with mind drain.

Now if I could find a resonable way to work the rifleman tree....2,1,2,2, way too much exp to go..

Must the music/dance be in a cantina to do this? Like battle fatigue? Or can it be done in the field, where you will use it with 5 minutes of maxing?

You dont have to be in a cantina to get the buff, you can also be in a camp. Standing on the street does not work though.

One thing I did see from the dancer/musicians forum. They asked for this to be a FOCUSED buff. meaning they have to target you for you to be able to get the buff. (They are really pissed off with AFK'ers). I dont know if it was implemented as a target abitity, but they asked for it to be. Some of them that have TC dancers/musicians plan to test it tomorrow and get back to the guys on their forum. If it is focused, be prepared to start paying formind buffs. (I already was, as a tip, but now it might be manditory)

777, well, they didn't expressly say that. I doubt they would be that stupid as to make a 2 hour buff take 2 hours to cause.

I hope.

I don't suppose that Dancers/Entertainers can buff THEMSELVES yet, eh?

This change is a horrible horrible thing. Yeah it may be good for rifleman but guess what, this one swoop single handedly killed both the entire chef profession and spices.

I can't believe it has gotten to the point where the devs will completely ignore the effects changes will have on other professions.

Now all a person will need to do is find a doctor for some health and action buffs, find some AFK 'macro-tainer' and they're good to go.

Well, then they should also extend the time Chef buffs work as well. I'm guessing only Mind is buffed here and Chefs should be able to cover the rest. H3ll, I'll buy from a chef, and still do... if they would just fix the stack bug (makes it so you can't use food unless it's in a crate).

I tip 500 per in large groups, 1000 in small and have tipped 3000 if there is just one. That big?

Dancers buff Mind, and Muscians buff Focus/Willpower.

Or is that the other way around?

Either way, you need both to buff all three stats.

Apparently the food stack bug is fixed with this new patch but unfortunately no one will buy food now at ALL. Chef's have been forgotten and will most likely be the last profession worked on (we're talking like 6 months) assuming they don't completely phase out the profession all together which has been rumored.

This entertainer buff is just another slap in the face of every chef. Also the top selling spice muon gold will be rendered obsolete since no one will pay for it and deal with the downer when all they have to do is go find and AFK macro-tainer and get the buff for free. So this change cripples the entire chef profession, and renders yet another smuggler skill tree useless.

I'm starting to get the impression the developers are in WAY over their heads.

Chef foods and smuggler spices stack with doctor and dancer buffs, and they can be applied anywhere. They are portable buffs.

So they still have the same place they always do. Why settle for +600 willpower from a dancer when you can have +1100 willpower -- +600 from a dancer and +500 from Muon Gold? Or +1500 willpower from dancer, spice and eating a couple foods.

Anyway, the entertainment buff really depends on how long it takes to buff. If you have to watch for 30 minutes in order to get a 2 hour buff, you might as well just die. It would save you time.

I don't mind paying for it. Also I don't think it will be that big of a deal in pvp, not many will have this buff. Also don't buffs dissapear when you die. It would be interesting if this buff gives them a TEF, like when doctors heal.
