LOL dont use a laser rifle, get a sliced for dam. t-21. and dont go for head shot 3 its crap. take my word for it, get conceal shot then get startle shot 2. i say this because its as close as ull get to strafe shot 2 with x3 dam. multiplier. with a good t-21 and a powerup u can hit savage quenkers from 1000-4000 dam. every 3-4 sec.
Please be realistic when giving advice. I can get a conceal shot off every 7 seconds with my laser rifle with a speed of 4.4 (speed sliced). How am I supposed to get a shot off every 3 seconds with a T21 which is going to have a speed of 7 or more? Maybe you fire that quickly at master rifleman, but it's not a good way to try to reach master.
FYI, I'm at 2-1-0-1 rifleman with master marksman for the extra rifle speed.

Get to 0-0-2-0, then get a DXR-6b Rifle
Then goto Geono caves and do this macro
/target crazed;
/overChargeShot1;
and repeat it... I got Master Rifle in 2 days there.

I'm finding hunting on Endor to be good for exp. Just wander around and kill whatever you come across. Most stuff is at least 3k exp. Whenever you find a mob just Take Cover and hammer it with Conceal Shot until it goes down. Helps if you have Mask Scent from the Scout tree too, but it's not required if you're careful.

I don't know why you guys like concealshot. Here's my macro I use in every fight. Btw with rifleman I don't even use any armor with quenkers/huurtons. Unless I'm hunting rancors, ns, or just going to geno then I put on comp. Otherwise use an armor macro and have your ubese on standby just in case you get mobbed by 3-4 critters.
Here's the macro:
/mindshot1;
/mindshot2;
/headshot3;
/headshot3;
Can take down most baddies with this easily. You can add as many headshots as you'd like. Once you get strafe 2 just use that with brandy and dancer buffs.

I myself am just starting out on rifles, plenty of conflicting advice here
However, as a MCH, I'm hunting rare pets on Endor ( Widows and Death Heads atm) but killing whatever I come across, using pairs of high HAM cats as tanks, with little risk to myself.The rifle xp, is partially abonus,as my main objective is a widow and death head baby.
Not understanding the finer points of the rifle skills, I had been using headshot 3, with my damage sliced T21, but having read some of the leveling threads, I think I'll revue my methods.
As I'm not intending "power grinding", as I find once I've mastered a combat skill, I get bored with it, for me, the enjoyment is the learning of the profession, I'll stick to what I enjoy, rather than finding fastest way to acheive the goal

head to the geo cave at peak server times, fully buffed, and it shouldn't take too long to get to Master.
