Thread: Armor Piercing and Damage Resistances are now broken
Oh really? I didn't know that. Cool, thanks for the info. That does explain quite a bit. To be honest i'd never really looked at how much actual damage I did until right now when something was seriously wrong.

I guess we are all gonna be forced to using Jawa Rifles now. It's nice when one thing is fixed, Revenge TEF, 3 things are screwed up- PVP damage, the 10 drop maximum on creature drops(Should be 11), and this AP/AR issue.

Also, I was hunting Bolle Bols on Naboo. These have never grouped attacked before this last patch, now they do. It appears that the devs have changed the characteristcs of the some of the creatures responses. They also upped the power consumption rate for Heavy harvestors. (so, most likely, ALL machinery now requires more power.)

No no, I kid. I just had to do something silly to lighten my mood. My two main professions are Rifleman and Chef, and both got seriously nerfed with yesterday's patch due to bugs. I'm kinda bummed.
In any event, this thread was started last night. So I had some lead time.

Did this whole issue make it on to that thread?
Mindshot2 should still work like normal so we are not completely useless. The bleeds are based on the dmg stated in the combat window before ar and resistance are calculated. I know thats not a huge comfort, but we can still bleed with the laser or t21 for 1k and then spam spraystick till they die. I assume it works the same in PvP. I dueled a CH master last night while waiting for a shuttle and my laser rifle did 0 dmg to his composite armor. I was going to give up and surrender when I switched to my spraystick and took him down in8 shots

This was on TC listed as a bug stating that armor is not working. I would assume that this is all part of the same bug.

No we had an old problem with AR in PVP. We didnt know they change the AR in PVE too.
Man this must be changed immediately with extreme prejudice!
I've never seen a rifle hit for so little damage, and I didn't think they could nerf us any worse
boy was I wrong.
They really need to redo the entire armor piercing system. It was barely working before but had serious bugs but now the devs messed with it and now it's completely broken. ![]()
Another funny thing... At master sharpshooter in PvP situations
Spraystick andPRENERF T21 (damage sliced) do the same damageat the same firing rate...
Funny.... quite funny...
Another thing... why nerfing T21s since master rifleman keep loosing any duel (players in the same buff/armor situations) even equipping old stile rifles?
