Good question Wayne - hope you find something that provides you with the excitement you're looking for!

My gaming experience is very similar to Vopn's (crap, hope i spelt that right).

i'm in a Rebel guild with about 9 other consistantly-on players. good mix of docs, medics, pistoleers, BH's, commando's, a novice rifleman, and me.

I love not having to grind anymore, and for a while i did the Master Marksman / master rifleman, novice medic + CH thing. had lots of fun with that, killing juvy krayts with ease with only a GSP.

Hunting with guildmates is quite a bit of fun, usually, resource or big-game hunting. that's a good time.

i like to PvP as well, and i've shifted my focus, if only temporarily, to that. I'm trying to make my rifleman as 'uber' as i possibly can, so i dropped everything but master rifle/master mark and picked up doctor. Hopefully i get my doc skills up to 0240 by tomorrow night, so i can buff myself and go pvp'ing. so far my new stat migration kicks ass, and that's without buffs!.

i also like cash and FP missions, (kunga's are where it's at for cash) so i can go upgrade my inventory. i need new armor- it' sfun to try and get advanced drops, and the best slices, etc.

i also help out my guildmates whenever i can, help them level, or hunt some resource. there's a couple BH's in my guild and i'm excited to go on some BH missions with them, see what that's like. (not sure if i'll be able to help kill the mark, but hopefully).

and yes, i find i hold back and just autoattack most mobs when hunting with my guildmates. give them the xp - i do the same 'safetynet' thing for when we're in trouble.

i will be getting more into faction missions/pvp/GCW in the coming days and weeks. at least, that's my plan.
