what's funny is that the Proton Carbine is almost an exact copy of a real life weapon, an H&K G36 carbine! lol I'd like to pick up carbines just to get that!! lol, almost

I'm wondering..........look at the Massassi Rifle.... Looks like it should give some sort of added defense/offense when being attacked by melee. I mean it's a rifle with blades..........

So the masassi is gonna be a new bowcaster. Which means the rest of us get 1 new rifle?

Does "energized _projectiles_" imply kinetic damage? That would be great, at least pre-CU it would be

Probably Energy damage. 'Energized Projectiles' is also what a Bowcaster fires.

Also remeber the Nym's slugthower. Even in its description is describes the mechanism for a projectile weapon, but it has acid damage?

anyone else notice that in the FF screenshots the person who is holding the proton rifle is in assault armor?
