Thread: Ultimate PvE Templete?

I've done the following templates for PvE (in order of having them):

Rifleman/CH/some medic - another good creature killer. I liked Ranger better, though. Not great for high end.... Never Mastered CH, so I may be off the mark a bit, but from what I've seen since I think I've got the idea pretty well.

Rifleman/Ranger/medic 1000 - awesome creature killer; you learn tactics with this -- the traps/camo/droids/terrain negotationprovide so many ways to abuse the game mechanics and solo things you really shouldn't be able to, lol. Had so much fun I spent5 months or so with thisbuild. No need for buffs or armor. Not great for high-end though.

Rifleman/CM - Good PvE, but only in high-end, and shines best in groups. Terrain negotation to kite Elders. Stacking poisons is only good against massive mobs, like Ancient Krayts, DJKs, etc. (But after spending so much time as a Ranger/Ch and killing nothing bigger than rancors, that was all I wanted to do, lol). Good, but I wouldn't call it the best solo PvE template.

Rifleman/Doc/Nov Brawler - great. Only problem is the lack of terrain negotiation. Better, overall, for solo PvE than Rifleman/CM, although CM was better against Elders (just because of the terrain negotiation). Curing intimdate in the geo caves, for example, is a lot better than being able to throw a poison.

Rifleman/Swordsman/Medic 3140/Scout 3000 -- In my experience, this was the best NS template. Regardless of what people say, you CAN kite Elders if you have a hill and some terrain negotiation, even though it might take you an hour to find an Elder spawn in a good spot next to some hills. And with this I could pull any NS from the pack, even if they were 100% resistant to energy, and bash them with my hammer. Honestly, though, places like the geo labs are a little more pain than they should be.

Swordsman/Doc -- In my experience, this is the best OVERALL soloPvE template... I <3 Rifles, but in my PvE quest, this is where I ended up. Only problem is I have trouble pulling mobs out of packs, but I'll figure it out.

I would vote for Master Rifle/Master Swordsman/TK Mystic/Marksman 4004. You could also drop MArksman xxx4 for novice medic.

Disease, and poison are not a problem. Both rifle and swords can devistate mind pool. Gives some melee defence and with 2 boxes of fs rifle speed gives +96 speed.

I have soloed just about everything, even kiting NS Elders using acid. Krayts take a while but are certainly done.

This is the best ive found. Very well rounded for pve and pvp. Cant heal myself but thats what buffs and TK Mystic is for. I do miss Master Ranger but this fits my style of play much better.

With rifles, everthing is second best anyway!!!

My template works very well. I never have to buff unless I wanna do something fast, or I go up against high level stuff.

Master Marksman

Novice Medic

TKA 4/0/0/4

Master Rifleman

Pistoleer 0/0/4/3

You can also go Smuggler 0/0/4/0 and something else, like the defense line in TKA and have good defenses and feign death.

Anything that keeps ya from dying easily is a good PvE template to me, but whatever you like hehe
