under the current damage formula AP doesnt come into play unless you have an actual resistance to a damage type. so no resistance works like being vulnerable and only the weapons raw damage is used to calculate the final result.

You sure?

Every higher AP rating on yoru gun you have over the AP rating of your target, gives you a 25% dmg increase. Shooting a jedi with a T21, would mean you have AP3 over AP0. Im pretty sure you get 3x 25% on your dmg.

Ohw quite, kill jedi with rifle. Well get an accurate rifle, like a looted DXR6 with nice range mods. Then pop some citrus snow cake, thats another 40 accuracy for like 20 mins. Should help get threw that saber block.

And I know you dont like melee, but you oughta pick up novice brawler. Intimmidating a jedi makes him do 50% less dmg to you, and warcry1 them if you need a heal.

Also, intim cuts the chance to counterattack, block, and dogde in half, does it do the same for jedi block?

I have a 1292 max T-21

Can I have it? Lol

Anyways, I'm a Master Rifleman working up investigation who has been hunting Jedi with a BH friend of mine for a long time. Barb-Wire is absolutely right. You need to act like a real bounty hunter or sniper would and stalk that guy. Finding a Jedi grinding 10 rancors at once is the coolest sight in the world, just get close and shoot him with as much damage as you possibly can. Finding good weapons is hard for me as I cant seem to ever get as much money as everyone else but if you bring a friend or you can stalk the Jedi you can do it with a fairly basic, sliced, puped T-21. Something to watch out for with this tactic however is smart Jedi, lol. Some Jedi will jump on a bike as soon as they see a figure in the distance. In this case try to get a friend on the other side of him, even if the friend is non BH and can't attack him yet the Jedi might freak out and head back your direction, its aplus if the Mob he was fighting stays on him as well. So these are basically my findings, and the number one rule is never ever let the jedi get close enough to you, ever.

i am very positive. for AP to work the target has to have at LEAST 1% resistance to your damage type. if AP worked correctly jedi would liekly one hit kill with their sabers since they are medium AP....

its just a bug in how the formula calculates damage. it "skips" over the AP calculation if the target is vulnerable or has no resistance. yeah i know about novice brawler but that whole thing just reeks of cheap tricks. dont expect it to work after the combat revamp though. i just dont think a novice skill box should be the end-all of PVP.
