one more thing..i think to dissapear from teh radar and overhead map you need something like a ghillie suit which we would be able to craft and there would be something you could experiment on so you could stay off teh radar like..a poorly crafted one would make you invis from radar at 100-128M and a kinda well crafted one would let you stay invis from 80-200M and a very well crafted one would be 64-300M doesnt this sound like a good idea?

The great thing about this idea is that it does not sing for some kind of super power that has no faults, as a Pistoleer/Smuggler, I can whole heartedly support this, because it is balanced.
The power is in the Riflemen's hands to make it get done, sogood luck Ladies and Gentlemen.

Dont know what kind of radar you are using, but I cant see anything on them until they are around my 64m mark

it wont help pvp right now headshot 3 with a Laser rifle Can do up to 400dmg or it can do 40dmg... BUt it uses like 108 mind um thats 10shots... and lets say you do the median 200.. thats about 4shots... you will be out of mind Very fast i would hate to see the mind costs on headshot 4. Also Its great they cant heal their mind but NEITHER CAN WE!

The whole premise of the skill was that it is a 1 shot kill with heavy downsides, completely going around the 75% PVP damage decrease.

I love the whole concept, except for the '10 minutes that we can't get up' thing....2 mins tops, on the Battlefield, 2 minutes is forever, ten minutes is an eternity...
Just my two credits...

all these disadvantages for a one shot kill? Pistol and carbine have one shot kills (knockdown) withNO disadvantages.

A badly executed, but well-conceived idea.
Just give /headshot4 a x5 damage multiplier, a x3 time mod, and a x3 mind cost. I'd be happy.

I was under the impression that the game doesn't allow for ranges beyond 64 meters.
And as for the whole John Madden Field-Goal approach to shooting, I think it would be cool in anaother game, but this isn't a FPS, its still essentially turnbased, and this would switch it up to a more reflex-driven attack.
Not to mention people with lag, and the lil **edit** is ticking all over the place, and then you blame you miss on the lag . . .
The rest of the idea issnt bad though, just don't think the reflex-based attacks will ever make it in.

With the whole moving thing to determine hit or miss, you are adding twitch skills to a game that was decidedly made to not require any twitch skill at all. I don't mind the idea of a one shot kill from a rifleman with severe cost to said rifleman, but I don't think you will ever see any twitch combat in this game, even space flight / fight when it is added.

I like this idea alot. Currently I'm going to train in the sniping tree and rifle tactics for speed but not master rifleman.... what's the point.
