I've had one for a few days now. I payed like 700k for it and I think that it stinks. I do alot more dmg with my laser rifle. My dxr-6 has good stats it's sliced with a power up and it still hits like a lump of poop.

Dose anyone like this gun? Is it just me?

The thing that, honestly, makes the DXR-6B superior to a laser is it's minimum damage. Smaller damage range in PvP means mitigation will have less effect on the final damage dealt. However, I think in most circumstances the T21 is a better overall weapon.

but the damage thread that laser rifle does the most DPS vs unarmoured opponents, and Jawa is best against composite.

Uh...Usually, yes.

Against stun vulnerable, 80% energy resist composite, a decent Jawa will out damage most T21s in PvP. Against this armor, the T21 may get a 1.56x damage boost for having heavy armor piercing vs. light armor, but it is also taking an 80% reduction in damage from the energy resists. That means thatyou are actuallydoing 1.56 * .20or .31 x the damage after armor and resists are calculated. Even against 50% energy resists, you aretakinga damage reduction with the T21 (1.56 * .50 = .78). If it is stun vulnerable, then armor and resistances are bypassed. That means that you get whatever the combat damage is (base damage times special with no reduction from armor nor bonus from armor piercing). Add tothat ranged damage mitigation, which will affect the Jawa less, and you will find thatagainst the 50% energy resist armor, the T21 would have to hit for an average of 22% more damage to outdamage the Jawa, and against the 80% energy resist armor, it would have to hit for a whopping 69% more damage to outdamage the Jawa.

Against Stun resist layers, this advantage quickly disappears, but in general, that plus the fact thatthe base speed and HAM costs of a Jawa are less, Yes, the Jawa is usuallybetter against mostcomposite armorsthan the T21.

Mine sliced and unPUed:

220-475

5.8 speed

109+ @ ideal range

84 mind HAM cost

Does that stink? You make the call.

Stun layers aren't exactly rare on my server now

And thanks to +10 speed tapes and Vasarian, speed and HAM are non-issues.

The dxr-6b is an AP2 acid damage weapon, Key here is acid damage, every weapon has its time and place. Use the Acid rifle where you need to. I constantly mess around with my jawa, laser and dxr-6b in combat. it works well.

I got a krayt enhanced one for 200-396 spd roughly 3.2spd (spd sliced) mind cost only 45 . While i was yelling curses at SOE for hours on end at my luck, i eventually decided to go back and get better components. Well while fighting I happen to notice that most of the creatures in the Lab havespec protection vs energy and resist from 30-55%. However against acid most of them are either have very low resists 10% or are vulnerable to it . I was out dmging opther master rifle man with my crappy spd sliced gun. Got loots of nice cubes too.

It's the anti-defense stacker gun of the century.

Of course, I think that because I make em with +146 ideal accuracy.
