probably not... the mobs there are in close quarters and they include things such as super battle droids or uber ST's (and i mean uber) and uber rebels....
check this quote out from test centre
"I'll reiterate that this will be a Challenge (see the capital C?). I went up with a bunch of Rebels the other day and we did well up until the Medium Armor 60% Kinetic Stometroopers that were accompanied by a Heavy Armor 80% Kinetic Stormtrooper. If you don't have your act together expect multiple trips to the Entrance Room and a ton of Black Rot. Make sure your armor is in top notch condition as well because some of this stuff packs a major punch. Super Droids punched through my Composite to pop me for 800 damage"

Suppose you were fully buffed, wearing 80% kinetic armor, had some pistoleer dodge skillsand ate some of that 49% Dodge Pittat Pie (or whatever it is)?
I've been wanting to solo myself, but not sure I could handle it.

You can solo the destroy corvette mission. The method I see most often is:
Drop all your armor and decay-ables in the bank vault. Go up there with spice, and food. Complete objective (IE running into a room with 5 SBD's and flip a switch) - die. Complete objective - die. Repeat repeat repeat.
Feign Death I hear works also.

You do not clone (meaning you do get wounds and decay) but you do wind back on the ship, at the starting point.

a novive artisan can solo the corvette, but you have to have good skills, this is one area wherepersonal skill takes over

nooooooo dont do it nothing on corvette does kinetic damage every mob uses ranged weapons you need 80% energy with nice high base (heat ,acid and cold mainly)
hmm as for solo i dont think you can as your current template (creatures die far to fast),
i solo corvette ofternand its not easy im tkmaster rifleman master and medic you will realy need tk defences and defence aquity it makes100% diffrance also you will realy need to know were your going and what your objectives are i sugest reading a good guide (heres the one i used when starting out http://www-scf.usc.edu/~madhav/vette/ )
also i would recomend doing the neutral missions till you get the hang of it,
and most important try and avoid the battle droids hehehe

You sure? PvP isn't supposed to have decay, but all forms of PvE(incuding the corvette) should have decay on your items upon cloning. Which is real cute since you can clone up there, but not insure
