Thread: what is berserker useful for?

I can't c it being any use in PVP because most armor adsorbs 80% of the hit.(heat)
Cause of armorit would only be good in pve because it is heat dmg.
Please post below what it is actually useful for... Cause honestly i dunno.

Its "good" against the spider cult elder lady who got like 100% and 90%def against everything except fire...

Not everyone wears Armor....
Exellent for Riflemen / BH..."They havea High Min/Max Damage for a Rifle.
That Coupled with a good speed & Master Lvl Rifleman Speed + Force Sensitive Speed..Makes then Very Deadly indeed.
Add the Above to PvE as well...
There's some "VERY" High Lvl Critters out there with Heat Sensitivity.
BTW While we're on the subject of Beserkers, I'll ask this here instead of making a new post.....
I'm more than a little confused on Just What Corvette These Drop in.
Sure i know its an Imp Wep...but.....PPL have not been too clear about Exaclty which ships they spawn on.
They Say its the Imp Corvettes......, But...... :
Dose it spawn on the Reb Corvett missions to the Imp Corvettes...?
Or dose it Acctually Spawn on he Corvette Missions given by the IMPS themselves,, "Whish would be acctual Reb Ships...?
I'd love if someone could clarify that thks.

AFAIK it's from the imperial corvette missions, that's Imperial's going to kill rebels.

FOOL! Any Rifle taht has a attack if a diffrent type is useful! Heat Damage, alot of creatures have little or full heat damage. plus mybe well get lucky and they start to drop some beserkers with Fire DOT or they well fix Surprise shot or give us a Fire DOT attack?

I believe that commandoes hae the fire dot in the bank, torso shot doesn't even compare. Since i'm also a master commando, and have some evil flamethorwers, for me, its going on the wall.

Well Riflemen are used to only having two damage types (Tusken King doesn't count 
) so getting a heat damage weapon is a nice plus and opens up what you can hunt. Options are nice

In my opinion, it's the best looking weapon in the game.
And yea, there's some SMC and other NPCs on Dath that're Heat vuln, which is cool.
But really... this gun is just hawt. My alt is a WS and hasabout 150 Gorax bones, and I think the best of them will be put towards Beserkers.

What would u consider a good damage on the beserker rifle?
Ive got it to 170-355 , speed 5.1

In addition to the extra Damage type it draws alot of attention. My WS had 7 rifles worth of components lying around and decided to make one just for a test run till she gets the rest of her Pts for WS. The damage and speed came out none too good cuz it was not goraxed and she got a moderate success /cry but it was free since it was a tester. I walked around cnet with it and proceeded to go into tell hell as to where i got it, how much it cost me and whether it was better than t21's It felt good to be center of attention

Though that rally don't make Sence...
The Berserker is meant to be an Imp Gun...
So Why on earth would it be on a RebelCorvette....hehehe
Perhaps the Devs should consider Changing that 1..
