whoa...too bad on the condition tho. you better pray there isnt some catastrophe come repair time.

p.s. screw headshot3...spam strafe2 with that thing and you'll be the envy of even the most notorious combat medics.

All in all the top damage on that thing is pretty weak, but the DOT IS AWESOME!!!

with 537 strength AND infiite uses.....

best to be used in PVP, shoot them a few times with strafe shot 2 or head shot 3 and their mind will be dying badly

I wonder if the DOT still works after the weaponwears down to 0 condition or goes to 1/1 after a crit fail on repair.

so i was out krayt hunting today and come across a spawn of giants. i kill the first 3 and all i got were some composite armor segments. the 4th one spawns, and i finish it off and go to loot and i see the message "You have completely looted the corpse." Before looking to see what it was, i checked my alt who was in group with me and he had a system message that I had looted a CDEF rifle. At this point, I'm pretty pissed for doing all that work for a freakin cdef. I open up my inventory and find this. Not too bad eh?

Very nice!

Ya know, I hate those rifle-totin' Krayts. Why can't they breath fire like the rest of their brethren. Next thing ya know, they'll be showing up in armor with pistols in holsters wearing cowboy hats. Damm uppity Krayts.

ya, the condition kinda stinks, but i only plan on using the rifle to spam a flushing volley when the fight first starts. poison them and hopefully stun them before switching over to my t21 or jawa and finishing them off. i've also got +20 to weapon repair clothing, so hopefully that will help also.

i'm also a combat medic and i did a little testing and the DOT on the rifle stacks with my mind poisons . deadly combination. with my spider venom poisons, i can do over 1300 damage per tick now to an entire group

To what end? That thing's not for doing normal damage, it's a DoT weapon to be used as the owner suggested - in an initial volley to apply the DoT. Speed slice? Why? Any well-leveled Rifleman will be firing that thing far too fast to need a speed slice. Powerup? Why?

The only thing slicing and powering up the weapon would accomplish would be to degrate the condition faster. Hardly worth it.
