Thread: Can Someone please explain to me why the T21 was nerfed when FWG5's are like this
THis is freaking rediculous

Because SOE hates Riflemen. Period
Believing different is tantamount to thinking the Patriot act actually is a good thing
Ive never held a T21 to know what the stats of one are.
But in principle the best pistol shouldnt' do any more damage than a rifle over equivalent distances. A rifle is no less accurate at closer distances than a pistol is, and based on size of the power cell used in a pistol, it should actually do less damage.
Well to be fair, those aren't your average FWG. They are clearly krayt weapons, with awesome slices. You can't realistically make a krayt t21 though... so yeah.
Plus, do you see how expensive those guns are?
Azradok,
Just FYI. It should be .30-06 . A 30.06 as you mentioned would mean a 30.06 inch shell. Which is significantly larger than even battleships have on them. ![]()
T21s are horrible guns. Their only purpose is the Heavy AP, otherwise they are beaten hands down by Laser Rifles on all counts. Here are some rough stats on how mine are made (cant remember HAM) -
T21 - 7.7, 150-330
Laser - 5.5, 60-401
I know which I favour, my T21 has been sat in my house for god knows how long now... now how can this be when you look at the huge amount of resources a T21 needs along with the fact it is meant to be an Elite profession weapon?? The same could be said for the DX2 Pistol and Elite Carbine by the way...
Ok, so FWG5s...I have pistol skills so I use these too, they're just about the most awesome gun outside the Commando/LLC stuff.
FWG5 - 1.8, 62-209
And yes, attacking Mind pool is not an argument as we kill our Mind pool in just firing the gun - the advantage we have in dealing Mind Pool damage is worthless in the face of the penalties we suffer because of it. Also, can I just say that not all our attacks hit the Mind Pool. Only Head Shot/Mind Shot is in that category...all the others (to my knowledge) hit random pools.
Don't even get me started on the melee damage multiplier...
The fact is Riflemen need to be given some slack.
In PvP it should be like rock, paper, scissors...each profession should have an advantage oversomeand be at a disadvantage toothers. Can someone please tell me who Riflemen have an advantage over?
