Who really cares. We are the class that all that are nerfed turn to for some reason. For some reason they think that we care about them coming out of god mode.

We did not nerf them the devs did, There are not enough of us to raise stink to get anyone nerfed. It is funny how we get blamed for there nerfs.

i tried pistol on another account and i orgasmed from the pure joy of owning stuff that would have me taking a dirt nap as a rifleman

you cant queue up specials as you fire them because the pistol speed shoots so fast that you won't be able to catch up!! its awesome.

With rifle its more like:

you can not headshot3 while dead

I have to say, I'm not very happy. Besides never getting a customer service ticket answered yet (Some I've left in the queue for weeks), I am starting to feel there is little reason to ever bother with PvP. I'm a master musician, rifleman 3 3 4 3 and Pistoleer 0 0 3 1. Pistoleer has been the easiest part of the game so far and it's been making the last 700k of rifle XP hard to make. So lately I decided to test some of my combat abilities and was dismally disappointed. Perhaps it's the fact the there seem to be alot of commandos and bounty hunters and I'm unlucky. Perhaps it's because I choose musician instead of creature handler. I don't know but it seems unless you're a noob I'm a dead man. I even havecrazy (in my opinion) rifles. My laser is 3.7speed 44-341 damage, my T21 is 5.3speed 150-350 ish and my other is 7.7speed 175-450ish. These guns were not cheap either and it took many many many hours (don't forget to tip your entertainers) to be able to get just one, (though I do believe they are some of the best available at the time). Regardless, combat is over so quickly for me (even when I use a powerup which hurts my weapons), that I am in constant amazement. I mean, you know it's bad when the enemy stops attacking you even though you're overt. So what can I do? Dropping musician is appealing for the skill points but for me, it was so hard to master I can't imagine ever doing it again. That leaves rifleman (yet another brutal profession in my book) or pistoleer but then what? Seems to be able to participate you have to be a die hard, hard core player with a one track mind on combat and put all of your skill points into it. I'm older myself and like the social/helping attitude with being a musician. So far it's been the best part of the game for me but then what else can I do but run endless missions. PvP is not an option unless I have all my skill points into combat. Perhaps if it was better organized but with mob rules and mob tactics? I'm so close to achieveing master rifleman and plan on acomplishing my goal along with trickshot.I just don't know how I will be able to keep it that way, I mean a guy can only take so much stomping before he gives right? I'm seriously consideringmoving on to another server to try again but the task seems so daunting, or just go back to a FPS game where at least the combat system is fair and I don't have to spend hundreds of hours to be vaguely good or masterfully dissapointed. Anyway, long post, I feel your pain! I don't think any of the developers have ever fired a weapon in their lives nor understand that the universeworks throughthe laws of physics.I keep telling myself it's just a game and I'm sure the dev's are just seeking some kind of balance. What that is who knows. I really wish they'd look at the real worldto see how effective a rifle is and how combat actually works. Mind you when you can only shoot 210ft it makes you wonder why anyone would have developed a largeweapon with slow? electronics.

Absolutely stunning entry! <applause> I'm glad you enjoyed the content and had so much to say in agreement or disaggrement. Truely, I think your words have touched me, so articulate. To think, paragraphs, wow, perhaps next time I'll use them if I give **edit**.

That's great and all, but my Pistoleer friends have FWG5's that do that much damage a SECOND.

Spacedman...

I think he was offering some constructive criticism in a very poor way. The truth is, it was hard to read that. I made it about half-way through and my poor, weak eyes kept jumping to the wrong lines. So you may want to keep that in mind for future posts.

With that said, I feel your pain in several ways.I think SWG has a real problem with "end game". Now that I made Master Rifleman, and am not real big into PvP, what do I do? I still have lots of exploring I want to do, so I'm not leaving yet, but the vague promise of a FSCS won't keep me here if there is nothing else to entertain me in the meantime. I guess I can go try the theme parks and stuff... don't know anything about them.

I am powerful enough to go out and run 10K$ missions on Dantooine if I need money. So that is more of a chore than a thrill. I will probably keep MRifleman and rearrange my remaining skill points to become Master Doc or something like that. To be honest, entertainer, chef, etc. do not excite me in the least. I was a scout and don't want to go do that any more. Maybe CH just for grins, though I've never used a pet until just the last week.

Problem #1:

Weaponsmiths don't make many Krayt Laser Rifles because they use 3 identical tissues. We should have their # of power handlers reduced to 1.

Krayt T21's are impossible (and weak), requiring 10 tissues. Reduce that number of PH's to 2-4. Increase the min and max damage by ~40.

Problem #2:

Rifle accuracy is currently in the dumps compared to pistol accuracy.

Problem #3:

The Devs make drastic re-balancing changes, rather than slow experimental changes.

No, but you do need that many more tissues. It's still an issue.

If a rifleman isn't willing to pay 2 million for a Krayt Laser rifle then the weaponsmiths won't make them. It's purely ecenomical. They can sell most Krayt FWG5's for 200-500k on Intrepid. Our big guns go for 10-50 times that (ugh... this made me feel ill, a FWG5 that's 169-730/0.3 is on auction now.).
