Hello all rifleman,

I have been looking though these fourms very carefully and there doesn't seem a place that gives good advice on how to grind rifleman. Now you guys get mad because somone post they want to know how to grind rifleman what gives the best and you check the forms instead of post a link to the fourms you say check the fourm. Well most people have before they started posted to your forums. There is no title in the stickers that say Holo Grind Rifleman click here like they are in other professsions. People come here for help. Not so you get mad becase they don't want to say a rifleman, maybe there is a reason guild status and all, and they want to do there holos quick so they can get bac to there guild role. Personally I am start to like rifleman, but I need to know how to grind this baby fast, like i was able to do pistoller. No one seems to know what tree to go up first and what to kill. So telling people to go look though the forums if they has that question unless you give them a link to the forum where the information is. Just help them and they will leave you alone.

I think thatgetting conceal 1 first for conceal shot, thenSniping to about 2 or 3, than counter-sniping to 3 or 4 just for the AOE attack. Than finish sniping, then conceal. The other branch is combat exp, but I'm sure you knew that.

I am sorry you do not feel you are getting the information you want; however, I have a few issues with what you are saying:

/Rant On
/AskForgiveness for harsh response

1) First, you are dead wrong. This is one of the most help professions on the forums with regard to answering questions.

2) Even if the above was not true, nobody owes you the information. One of the problems with the game and people on these forums is that Hologrinders come jumping from forum to forum and demanding information on how to grind out masteries in 30 minutes, and expecting people who spent months grinding a profession they love to just accept them as brothers. There is a term for when people ask you for help, benefit from it, then toss what you have given them aside to move on to their real goal. It is called being "used." People have a right to view with suspicion people who come here demanding to use the hard earned experiences of people who have sweated for months over a profession just so that they can grind it out in a few days, dump the profession, and move on to their real goal. So the fact that such people get any help from the profession boards is a testament to the professionalism of the people therein.

3) Besides, as has been stated in other posts. The information is there. It is there because the question gets asked sometimes as many as two times a day, and people get a little tired of seeing posts starting like "I just got my holo. It said Master Rifleman. I looked a little, but did not really see much on it. How you master rifleman quickly." "Did not look much" is an understatment. There is at least one thread referenced in the FAQ post on the subject, and I just did a quick forum search using "grind rifleman" and looking only in the Rifleman board, and guess what? I got 29 pages of hits. It is relatively easy to look through a few pages and see tons of "Looking for advise" or "How do I make Master" or "Where do I grind" posts.

So understand that people get tired of answering the same question over and over, especially when it does not take a lot of effort to find the exact same question answered over and over. So, please. If you want information, do not come here with attitude. No one owes you anything, especially if you are just coming here to grind out something that you are going to drop a few days later. Also, please do not get upset because people get tired of answering the same question over and over. Holos have been out for months, and even if they were not, do you really think that you are the first person who thought, "Hmmm. I wonder how you grind out [insert profession here]"? Every forum has this question asked and answered constantly. Have enough respect to do a little research before asking. Do a search and look in the FAQ. Then if you still have questions, ask, but do not act like someone owes you anything.

Interesting that you'd feel that way. I've found the Rifleman forum to be the most helpful, informative, level-headed peeps in the game.

My point exactly, you just proved my point for me, you said that there was plenty of information about how to grind, if needed. (Also i understand that you don't have to give me information that is not the point, just don't get mad at people because you see the same question over and over, the reason is becase there is not simple place of getting to the information.)

Ok, could you have posted a link there to where the information is, becase Number 1, I looked though the FAQ and the stickies like you said. And Also I did the search also that you did, and it came up with those results but if you go read the post, it doesn't have information on the best way to get rifleman xp, or which tree to go up.

Also, if it took you 4months to master a profession and could take somone else 1 weeks, by learning from your experince, that is helping somone out. Personally I am liking the professions, but it is not what i want to be. And i don't even have to grind this profession becuase i want to keep it for later use. I am just sick and tired of people can made other people becase they can't get the information they have.

1. Everyone doesn't know how to use the forums.

2. There are alot of new players wanting inforamation, and wanted jedi and did want to a rifleman. How would you feel if you had a professions and in order to get a jedi you had to drop what you love. I did it once, and vowed to never do it again.

3. All I am asking for instead of getting mad at somone and telling them its in the fourms. Just post alink and your problem is solved.

Thanks to everyone else that gave information that could help somone.

Well I haven't gone to very many forums and while some forums have a nice "Hologrinders click here" post stickied to the top for those who need it, the problem with rifleman is basicly this. There is only one way to level up. Kill stuff.

There are a couple of minor tricks on how to level up. But basicly it boils down to kill what you can kill with the least amount of danger to yourself. Every character is different. When I started rifleman I was already a decent fencer. So I knew what I could kill with a sword, I would kill that with a rifle and if things got hairy I would switch.

But basicly there is nothing to tell other then go kill.

Other profesions are a little more complicated and tips and tricks can greatly speed things up.

I did not give a response to the question because others did. I did not, nor did I ever, get mad at you or anyone else who came and asked those same questions.

On the other hand, I did find it offensive that you come here lecturing us on how angry you are because we would not do your job when a few simple searches would have netted you all the information you wanted. Especially, since, even as I write, there are at least 4 threads answering these very questions sitting on the first to pages of the Rifleman forum, so:

1. If you do not know how to use the forums, then ask. But still, how difficult is it to scroll down the page and type a few words in a search bar to look for information already answered over and over again. And even without a search, look through the most recent few pages of the forum. Guaranteed, the answers will be there because they are always there.

2. Hmmm....never opened a holo because I CHOSE not to drop the profession(s) that I love. If you choose to pursue Jedi, then you are chosing to give up professions until you master it. I am sorry that this is the case, but that hardly justifies coming and demanding that people give you information.

3. The problem will not be solved, because whether you post a link or answer the question, the question will be there the next day. Besides, look at what you are saying. I can solve the problem by going out and finding the link for you.

As I said, I did not answer this, because others already have. And your attitude certainly is not motivating me to give you anymore information than that now.
