Thread: Is it normal for the tip of T 21 rifle to hang down?

I recently bought a T 21 rifle and i noticed this after I had it in my inventory. I have looked at some for sale on the baazar and they don't seem to have that problem. Anyone familiar with this?

its an old bug sometimes you get it when a weapon smith adds a stock or a scope to a t21 it looks kinda funky

*patpats* They say it happens to every Rifleman. There's a pill you can take for it I believe.

It happens when a T21 is made by hand (insteadof factory crated)and the barrel used is notin a crate (although the barrel could have been factory made, it was just removed before making the rifle). That is the only way to get components to show up on the final product, the same goes for a stock, factory made T21s dont show a stock, but hand made ones do,but for some reason the barrel on the T21 points down instead of the proper direction. Also, only the person holding the weapon can see these differences so to everyone else your rifle looks normal. Hope this helps.

tip: all T21 made with krayt tissue will have this bug since there is no possible way to factory make a krayt T21.
so if someone tries to sell you a krayt T21 that doesnt look like that it is not a krayt. this doesnt mean every rifle that does have it is krayt. its just a handy way to avoid one possible scam.

On the other hand, if someone offers to sell you a T21 that does 800 - 1200 damage at 1.2 speed, grab it even if the barrel does not hang down.

No - it is possible to handcraft weapons without having the visible stock/scope/barrel. Parts only become visible if they are removed from crates before double-clicking them in the crafting tool. If you double-click the crate in the tool, that component won't be visible, and you can avoid the stupid-looking T21 barrel bug.
