Getting Novice Brawler for Intimidate and Warcry would also be a good decision. Thoughearning enough combat XP for all of Ranged Support wouldn't be hard at MR, so you could even switch between the two as the situation dictates.

personally, id suggest grabbing 1000 scout for some terrain negotiation. makes kiting so much easier.

I definitely recommend novice brawler - intimidateis the singlegreatest tool in the game. For PVE, you cannot tank the highest content without intimidate, but with it elders, giant canyon krayts, and other end-game material will beachievable and in PVP you'll be much more capable of holding your own within melee range.

As a rifle doc though, it seems the optimal strategy is to stay far away from things though.

For high end content if I'm solo'ing it, its gotta be with concealshot or is it really viable to tank Elders/Krayts as a rifle/doc?

Rifle/doc is the ranged version of a tank - you have no need for conceal shot with the game in it's current form (debate about our ability to solo any content I'll leave forother threads). You can heal 1000+ per stim so you aren't really worried about taking damage, especially if you get novice brawler for the damage reduction of intimidateand you can deal massive damage with a rifle out. You can go toe to toe with lairs of enraged rancors, Giant Canyon Krayt dragons, and NS eldersand barely break a sweat. As far as PVE goes, your template is king of ranged and your damage output is unmatched. It's also an excellent template for PVP as docs are always needed for buffing/healing groups, you can heal any state laid on you immediately, you can put out fire, and you can deal massive damage.

Aye I agree, its too bad though that when you use intimidate that you suddenly stop in your tracks and pull a pose while you intimidate. Its good in PvE but really in PvP you shouldn't be closeenoughto intimidate someone

with 18 SP, go with novice brawler for most everyday useage...

then if a great shift of meat comes in shift to 0/0/1/0 scout for harvesting purposes...

the lack of terr nego can easily be offset with a food that nobody uses travel biskets get some that are like 12 filling and last for 18 mins with around a +14 terr nego boost to them... considering brandy (49 fill) and ashia (33 fill)last for about 50 mins double stack them and that leaves room for the travel biskets as needed... the only downside is you have to special order them...

anyone with good buffs, 80%+ kin armor, novice medic and novice medic can tank up to a giant krayt (haven't found an ancient to try it with)... just keep them in a constant state of intimidated and you'll be fine as long as you have the Bstem's out of the crate... and its much faster than concealshoting something to death...

with MDoc it'll be even easier, you'll need to drop stems alot less often, but i think you'll get alot more use on the endgame Mobs with brawler...
