I would much rather be a novice rifleman then a novice sharpshooter. U can't label the class one thing and have the title be something else.

Besides does novice sharpshooter sound any better than apprentice sharpshooter? I want to be a Rifleman, not a sharpshooter.

Put it in your Bio then and don't put up a proffession tag. They won't change it just because you would rather have rifleman.

I just loooove the title we get at Sniping accuracy tier 4. Yes you guessed it SNIPER!!! I think i wanna keep that title even when I get master rifleman cause it OWNZ hehe

The actual skills we learn in the 4 tiers are actually more applicable to snipers/sharpshooters, so i think the naming convention holds true tbh.

'Sniping Accuracy','Concealment Tactics','Counter Sniping' and 'Rifle Special Abilities'. These arent skills taught to the average squaddy. I think the prof should have been named Sharpshooter rather than Rifleman from the beginning.. would solve a fair bit of confusion on what our role is.

Sharpshooter is what you are awarded if you score a certain amount on your accuracy with a rifle in the military.

It makes 110% senceand just because you think it relates to hollywood and the "wild west" doesnt mean your right, it means your getting your education from hollywood. Tsk tsk.

The point i was trying to make is that the prof name 'Rifleman' doesnt best relate to the actually skills we learn in the trees. You must agree with that point surely?

very true...I am seeing it through hollywoods eyes a bit...but I consider video games closer to hollywood then real life.

And I still want a cowboy hat...oh, and a cattle ranch too...and so herding Australian Shepards too.!

That it true Tek...but then again you also get Expert Rifle in the military .... so I guess it works the same

Yeah, but SOE knew they would have 100 kiddies going "Why am i only EXPERT rifleman! I want to be grandmaster pimp daddy rifleman! Master is better than expert! Wah!"

Sharpshooter at least has good name-brand recognition with most people.

Personally, I wish the master title was "Master Sniper" rather than "Master Sharpshooter"... but it's no big deal.
