Thread: Best template ?

I dunno but Im Master Rifleman/Master combat medic/pistoleer 0134. It works pretty well in PVE same with PVP though I havent like fought the super tough creatures like Krayts and those hulking big creatures. But other than that this templates great. Healing myself all the state damages with burns, poison, infect, and reducin attack speed and all with all the great sniping abilities with rifleman. Plus if I need I can always root with my pistoleer line stopping shot and fan if Im mobbed usin my de-10 doing 400dps.

Got to agree with the MR/MCM, it is crazy fun! I put my extra points into scout4000 and the other medic line that gives healing boosts. I was running missions last night with some friends that were in the 40-60 range, and they loved my heals and resurect (whatever it is called
) I did find myself doing mainly healing, but these poor guys were all facing level 80 mobs since they were grouped with me. the CM root is a godsend when some mob goes melee on you. If breaks with damage, so make sure you don't have an autoattack on, hit it then scamper out da area =) Then bast them a few more times as they run back in to melee, rinse repeat. The bacta spray saved may groupmates lives, I think I was running it every few seconds, helped keep the lower guys alive =) The CM attacks are all good, even just using inate abilities, but with the BE boosters you get about 20-30% harder hits with them so they are well worth it.

Master Rifleman/MCM rocks!
I have tested the following as solo'd: Graul Maulers (lvl 81), Grassland Voritors (lvl 82)
Strategy is the same... pull one with your favorite shot... then chem fire, disease, poison... then when they are close... paralyze 'em... get some distance... and finish 'em off. Takes 2min at the tops... sometimes more... sometimes less.

Best for what? Grinding, pvp, pve, fun?
CM is powerful.
CH is a monster in pvp but weak in pve
TK is a nice balanced tank mage
BH gives you some really nice abilities and you are a 1 on 1 killing machine.

What Medic skill that gives Healing boosts ? which line in Medic ?
and for what scout 4 0 0 0 is worth ?

Thus far the balancing of professions seems to have worked well, so that the "best" template is whichever template lets you do the things you're intersted in, rather than there being an "ub3r fotm".
For my part, I've found rifle and pistol combine very well in both mods and abilities (great for single targets, but not much in the way of area attacks, so if that's your thing look at carbines or commando), and I definitely recommend Exploration 4 for anyone who'se going to be using rifle... there is a movement speed restriction when moving with a weapon equipped, and it's a (relatively) bigger restriction for bigger weapons, i.e. no restriction unarmed, small restriction with pistol equipped, moderate restriction with carbine equipped, large restriction with rifle equipped. I more than offset that with Explore 4, and then store my weapon when I need to make a break for it. I only rarely have to use /burstrun.

thx for answers but i cant find a LINE in medic skills which gives HEALING BOOST ???

OK. I like PvE, and might at some point try PvP. I would love to sit back and hide, dealing that rifle mega damage from a distance, but I hear that /cover is still broken (at least when I've tried it it's been a nightmare - if there is a _bug_ in the area it won't let you cover).
I'm kinda stuck atm, used to be TKM/Commando, and I would prefer to stack profs rather than spread - I want to do as much as I can without having to change weapon etc all over the place.
I tried CH, but at the moment my pets are all back to lvl 4 cause of the rollback on Chimaera. I'm going to try it again in a week to see how it goes, but I dunno. It would keep the critters where they should be, but from /cover at range, with root, I can do the same thing, can't I?
I'm worried that alot of people will suddenly be the master of a profession they aren't used to - even worse than grinding profs. I for one don't feel I'll be especially good for the first while of whichever other prof I pick.
What would you guys recommend for that? I'm tempted by both MCM and MBH, but not sure. Also maybe smuggler.

I believe it says healing efficiency, not boost. I believe its 0040

Yes, medical support line. Conversely, you could just read the descriptions to find out like everyone else. To do so, just choose a box in the skill window snd hoever the mouse over the box or skill to get a short description of what everything does.

Working on my tka/rifle template, when I'm not trying to figure out exactly how everthing worn=ks in the new system. It'll be some time yet, until that happens.

there is no best template, its how a person plays with that template to make it the best. just remember there is someone out there better than you, always. go with what you like, it couldnt hurt, could it?
