Thread: Bug with Master Rifleman gun speed.
i found this post amusing.....
1. if you have master rifleman already.... then you are also a Master Exploiter.
2. kind of funny you would post this exploit, seeing as how you have been using others to gain skills so quickly.
3. ONLY way you could have master already..... is if you have 4 friends.... who do alot of speed... and get so wigged out, you all take turns sleeping and playing on shifts, keeping your character exp'ing all day long.
not jealous....not even close, just dont like liars, and if you are not lying.... see #3
Wow Kaosodin. Great post =)
Stryk Rage (Overt Rebel Rifleman)
I got Master Rifleman about 12 hrs ago, and after the jump my rifle fires way more than '+20 speed' faster. Can do about 3 head shots per second w/ any rifle. Speed is irrelevant. I assume this is a bug.
Cross-emailed this to the exploits guy, and posted on SWG discussion.
It takes 3.6 million RIfle XP to get to Master Rifleman. 415,000 combat XP. Wich means after getting to all the Rifleman, you still have to work for the combat XP. Thats one hell of a time he must have gone through to get Master Rifleman already. Since the Power Rifle Exploit was fixed fairly quickly. Wich means to your XP rate, it will take you 144 hours to get Master RIfleman, not including the extra combat XP. Now thats alot of work
Anyways, congrats on Master Rifleman, think you can put up a screen shot of you with the tag?
Also 144 hours is only 8 hours per day since the game came out, I'm sure there's people that have logged much more then that. I'm not one of them, just saying it most likely is possible.
I put up a screenshot at:

It's a bit blurry because my compression software isn't so hot. Anyone on Tarquinas can see me running around as a Master Sharpshooter whenever I make my title visible as well.
You don't need to get Combat EXP *after* you max the Rifle EXP skills. The only skills in the Rifleman tree that are beyond a modicum of usefulness are Intermediate Sniping, Advanced Sniping, every Combat XP ability, and Master Rifleman. So the best plan is to simply get Intermediate Sniping and Advanced Sniping, then cap your Rifle XP at 900K, and make up the "difference" in the combat XP then. You won't be getting hit by the huge XP penalties from advancing your rifleman tree. Also, you should never spend XP before it's capped.
I was getting about80k XP an hour at the start, and around 30K an hour right before I maxed.
Well, 80K was around max and probably not really sustainable. 60K or so an hour right after getting advanced sniping accuracy would bea good #. You could get this fighting some mobs in Lok, like the spitting snakes. The fact that I'm a Zabrak and also cross-classed as a Doctor helps me a lot here tho since for a Rifleman with stims, Mind is the thing that causes downtime and Zabraks have a 900 willpower.
