Just curious how long it takes to get to master? I was looking on ebay today and noticed a guy has 2 accounts for sale in one auction for the Flurry server.. ONe of the accounts is a master rifleman. I just started rifleman and just curious how long it would take to get to master?

depends, if you can play 24/7 and go imp and get an AT-ST probobly a week , 2 at most. otherwise much longer, i started when game launched and i'm still not master, although close now.

What in the world is an AT-ST going to help with leveling for? Beside taking a week of play time to get? In that case, an AT-ST will slow you down.

srea76...

Like Pire, I have played since early release (but did not start rifleman until maybe 3 weeks in) and am somewhat close to master (4/2/3/3). I would guess that I play on average 2 - 3 hours a day, maybe more on weekends. I have always preferredstrictly solo PvE. (I've killed a sh*tload of animals!)

I*think* (not at home so notsure)that the rifleman tree takes almost 3.7 million points of XP (3,675,000... plus if novice takes any). I personally find that I can average between 20-30,000 per hour if I am soloing. So doing the math, thats 120 to 184 hours to master. You figure out how many hours you can play a day and do the math. Now I have had great days where I get 40-60K per hour, but other days where things just don't go right and I get only 10-15K per hour.
Others may tell you that they have much more than that. But do they do it consistently? Maybe. My stats above take into account getting missions, getting buffs, buying weapons, going to the bank, dying, cloning, returning to the scene of the crime, blah blah blah. All the day-to-day stuff that you will have to do.

I have a probot I keep in town and group with for extra XP normally. The thing that slows me usuallyis hunting with friends. Ihave a lot of online friends that like to get together and go hunting. But groups over two or three always seem to end up disorganized ("I have to go to the bathroom, be back in a couple of mins") and slow. Don't get me wrong... I really, really enjoy hunting with my best friends. But I always plan on getting slow XP when we head out together.

there are a couple people here on our server that are master, they said they made master in 3 weeks after launch, i am sure exploits were used, such as piket pulling up on dantooine, as they get caught in the small building, then they fire away, oh well, what are you gonna do? lol

you want to get some serious xp, go to dathomir and hunt rancors, lol

I've had the game for about 5 weeks and ill be at master rifle in a couple of days (4/2/4/3). Dosnt take that long you just have to concentrate on leveling and not waisting time. When i think abouth it i could have masterd rifle in 2-3 weeks if I had know how to level and stuff like i do now. with the creatures that i kill now i can watch my exp go up every 15 minutes

I've put 600 hours of game play into the game so far.

I'm a 4/2/4/3 Riflemen, Master Scout, 3/2/1/3 Creature Handler.

"concentrate on leveling and not waisting time"

I love this line. Shows how far mentality will contribute to enjoyment of the game. For me, concentrating on leveling is a waste of time and "the other stuff" is what makes the game fun.

To each his own.

I've been playing since launch and am no where close to Master Rifle. Enjoy the ride

i could prolly finish off my last few skills in a month if i lived on endor with a good group of 3. im currently 2/1/2/1, 65k away from 2/1/3/1, which i could get in a few hours on endor. only thing is, theres no imps to kill on endor. killin imps is what makes this game fun. i prolly spend most of my time killin imps, while the rest of my guild is out leveling on endor or where ever. when i join them though, i can make 50-100k rifle xp in a single night.

i even spent a night fishin along the shore near coronet. just because i found it amusing.

Played a totally different pro for along time, quit, restarted fresh 2 weeks ago and things were alot different so I had to go through the learnings curves again... 1 week playing 4~ hours a day for master Marksman and 4-0-4-4 scout ( which is what I wanted) then in 1 week I stayed away from work and im now 4-1-2-2 Rifleman 3-4-3-3 CH so dunno if that gives ya much help.
