Gentlemen, i have never read this board before, i never leave the commando forum cause I know nothing about the other professions. But now i feel compelled.

When the 2.5x melee BUG with Flamethrowers was noticed, we supported you, we pushed for them to change it, and finally they have. And now we're bugged, and you're laughing at us?

Thanks for the support. Perhaps at some point, some of you would like to play the class, and see what it is like to have to move in to 16m range and put yourself right in the thick of MELEE, and take 2.5x damage.

Between your posts and the posts from us, we got the 2.5x damage changed so we no longer do insane damage to you, and you laugh at us now that it is the same bug that we suffer from.

I held a lot of respect for riflemen up to this point, and i just lost it all.

Enjoy yourselves guys lol cause even with the 2.5x damage on ME I can still take down a Master Rifleman in a straight out duel hehe. Hell, soon they'll decide your T21 is the most powerful weapon in the game and nerf it. And dont trust them when they say theres no problem with it lol we got told a week before the patch that our Flamethrower was working as planned lol, they still changed it..

Feel free to flame cause I'll never check here for replies, but with the number of you who felt compelled to "laugh" at us commando's who can still kick your butts in PvP, I just felt I'd make a polite response

No real rifleman is a hardcore 1-on-1 pvper.. that's not the role of our class, so I'm sorry not many are going to care.

er, we laugh because we know what its like. everything and everyone that wants to closes to melee range with us because we run slower carrying a rifle, and we have zilch for accuracy on the move.

No--you really don't know what it's like having to use specials within 16m.

He wont be able to resist- He'll be back to check the replies! Muahahahaha!

Hey man, Did you even READ my post on the commando boards?? "how to deal with 2.5x melee, from a rifleman"? Or did you just skip to the flame fest that followed after a certain rifleman posted that he was laughing?

We know it sucks. The only differencesare that you guys have to be up close, and you guys can hit things up close, usually one shotting most things (at least with specials).

We wouldn't wish this on anyone.

You realize that we are theperson that your buddy fired from the company and were forced to move down to the hobo town after leaving you with your pristine suit smiling and saying tough break. Only to turn around and see you with your bindle heading our way. How can we not laugh? It isn't a mocking laugh of, ha you thought the devs favored you well a smiting is upon you, it is a wow they did it again laugh. Not one of malice one of insanity...sorta like the laugh that a villain has right before everything goes boom.

Don't take this the way that you are, I honestly don't understand why everyone hates us when we make any comment. Either we're trying to destroy the game by overpowering ourselves and nerfing others, or we aren't showing the same "compassion" that a number of other players showed us. Guess what? We aren't doing a **edit** thing besides patting you on the back, wanna share a newspaper blanket?

PS Don't put acronyms in a post that often it just looks bad, tell us to yuck it up while we can, or have a good ol' time until our own downfall but don't put lol in there that often please.

We know what its like to have to fire at 16m range.....its called the MOB warping bug.

How about the 'all BAF MOBs instantly attack (and warp) after our first shot' bug? Even when concealed? Range is irrelevant until warping is fixed.

I feel for you commandos I hate 2.5x melee damage, and now yes you are screwed worse than us.

I never laughed at you, so dont make fallacious statements. You have my sympathy.

But the 'can still beat rifleman PvP'statement earns you my pity.

It's not irony, it's your inability to read properly. He's saying that he USED to support you, but now that you went ahead and laughed at the same thing that's plagued you (even when we tried to defend your Class)... that NOW he's gloating about how he can still kill you regardless.

I still think its ironic that he is laughing at us because we where laughing at him.

Gairon, you say that now you suffer from the same bug as we do? The 2.5 melee damage penalty is not a bug. It is a balancing feature that plaugues all rifle and heavy weapon users. Welcome to the world of tactics, my friend.
