okay well ive joined the rifleman bandwagon decided to do this saturday morning and grinding all sat and sun i made 4244 last night ( I had a lot of combat xp saved up)

anyways, once i got sniping 3 i got suprise shot, i heard it sucks so i decided to try it out to see how bad it sucks...i took cover, used it and was doing 2-4k damage contiously from 64m on savage quenkers, they also didnt notice me cause i took cover so i could get quite a few shots off, i used this tactic and ill make master rifleman in a few hours today, most people take a week-a month to master rifleman, its taken me 2 1/2 days...use suprise shot cause it owns

oh yah i did all this unbuffed unarmored

i used combo conceal/headshot combo to get master rifle. and your dmg seems a little low 3k+ is a good avg for good t21 (which yours iis better than my krayt t21 without powerup) so you should be hitting for a lot more. headshot3 can hit up close to 5k dmg pretty regular (guess ive just been master too long and forgot what kinda dmg you can do while lvling, still think 4k was a good hit going up rifle.

im talking about the damage it says i do in the combat tab, not the damage they take in due to their resistances adn vuln and AR etc, that damage is the one that u see -4925 for example but im doing this damage in my combat tab and they damage they take in is 1-2k more

Glad it is working for you. However, take note that it is the fact that you are prone that is giving you the extra couple of shots, not the fact that you are under cover. Check the description of cover and you will find it adds to defenses, not to concealment. (Think in terms of getting behind a rock so the bullets can't hit you kind of cover, not a type of cammo.)

The extra shots you get come from a decreased chance of being detected. The farther out you are, the more shots you get. The lower your posture, the more shots you get. So prone and at 50 - 60m will give you your maximum concealment bonus (and add Maskscent if you have it). Cover just makes you harder to hit once you are detected and, even then, only if they are using ranged attacks. But since you areprone when you take cover, you get the bonuses to concealment from being prone, so it just seems that it is the cover that is concealing you.

You are supposed to need to be in cover for Supriseshot to work, but some have said it works either way. It may be that Supriseshot gets a little more concealment bonus if you are in cover, but Ihave not used it much, so I cannot tell you if there is a difference. Either way, if you are going to use it,I would recommend you continue doing what you are doing, that way it will be a habit that you will not have to change when they fix that aspect of the shot and require cover again.

I'm happy for you man. I'd allways heard suprise shot was totally bugged and worthless, something about it allways reports you're trying to use the wrong weapon, and that it dosn't even do anything.

So by the name I'm guessing it's an attack that only works UNTIL they agro? And what's it do to the condition of your rifle? 2-4K from a 580+ T21....hmm. That's at least a 3.5 modifier, if not 4 and possibly 5. Not bad at all.

Recently got conceal shot last night myself. Touch weak, and I can't seem to stay concealed long enough to solo the big stuff, but it's nice to relibly solo yellows, at least.

Flurry2 in Geo labs is absolute best xp in the game right now.

I earned 2.5m weapons xp (250k combat xp) in about 1.5 hours there one night.

I dont think they can ban you/me/us if the AOE bug occurs while fighting.....Can they? We can not directly control it and since we would take a 40% dmg drop by switching to a non-AOE attack is it even feasable that they could consider this?
