When i left, T21s weren't available on Radiant. I come back, buy a T21 and I see something about a Berserker Rifle!?

Please, tell me about these new weaps, how to get them etc, etc. Oh im so loving this. I knew I wouldn't regret not giving up on the Rifleman profession!

There's a rifle called the DXR-6b 'Disruptor rifle'. It does Acid damage and has Med AP. Quite a nice addition to our arsenal. This can be obtained through the fairly new Geonosian dungeon.

The 'Berserker' rifle has a nice look to it, but you may find its usefulness to be 'somewhat limited'. It does do Heat damage which is a plus, but lacks any sort of AP To get this one, you will need to go through the brand new Corellian Corvette several times (for schematic and parts). Take many tough friends

Unfortunately, because they are so difficult to acquire, the new rifles are very expensive. On Eclipse the DXR-6b rifles go for around 200K un-sliced, sometimes more. However, they are a very nice addition to the Rifleman's (and Riflewoman's) backpack. I have come across many a MOB with high resists to energy, but vulnerable to Acid. Plus they are very high accuracy. I have one that is like +87 accuracy at ideal range.

As a struggling rifleman, you will want to slowly acquire a variety of rifles. Even the much-maligned SG82 (Cold damage) has a place in my arsenal. Don't rush out for that one, but eventually as you progress you should pick up any rifle that does a "different" kind of damage.

To get teh DXR6b, the Geno Rifle, you need CS2. This is probaly the besst gun I have ver gotten. I just got CS2 a week ago, and I tried using it on Savage Quenkers yesterday. All I can Say is WOW!!! QUenkers have 30% Energy resits an is Vulnerable to Acid damage. With my +118 @ Ideal I never miss and I am so far away I kill it in 2 HS3 and 1 HS2 before it get close to me. Thats without Mask Scent, cover, or anything to stop it from Aggroing on me.

And to further elaborate... The higher accuracy is nice inat least two respects. Obviously, you're going to hit your target more frequently, but if I understand it right, it alsomeans you have a better chance of landing that Dizzy or that Stun (or any special effect) on your target. This may be a big help in PvP from what I understand. (Can't prove it cuz I don't PvP much right now).

By the way Jerele... excellent accuracy! Did you get to choose it, or did you just get lucky?

Yub yub. Your weapon's accuracy mod, in addition to your own accuracy, is all that you have to get through your opponents defenses. So if they have both high ranged defense AND high Dodge or Counterattack or Block(haha) then it can be quite tough to land a hit. That was before they capped it all though.

The accuracy also drops the +0 range..

Like on a laser rifle that is +50 @ 60m.. the +0 will be about 45m..

My disruptor rifle is +116 @ 54m which makes my +0 mark 28m. At 50m I can be running and the target also running and still be in the positive range at about +3-10..

Well the Unsliced was 6.0 max 353 953/953 conditoin +118 @ ideal. Those were the only ones he carried. Pretty nice, I love it, too bad I got a 20% speed slice on it. With a max pup, it 470 and do 2500 damage wth HS#

Jerele, you should be glad to have that condition on your weapon. Most of the ones I could find for sale had condition barely above 700. The damage is good (mymain one got a 27% damage slice and is 464 without powerup), but both the condition and the accuracy sukk. So I carry a second one with high speed (3.3) and high accuracy (87%, not like yours unfortunately) just for landing the special effects.

Nobody told me I actually had to THINK about what I was doing when I started rifle lo those many moons ago!

Well that rifle costs about 400k but luckly I found Green CUbes, 8 of them, and traded them for the gun. The HAM is high, but with no armor, and 2 BE +427 Vasarian Brandies, I only take 69 Damage with HS3. I heal really quick when sitting done so its ok. NP with that. Im trying to get a Low Ham and Speed one right now, winning it in an auction so far
