Thread: How/Where To LVL Rifleman fast

I just got done with TKA and was wondering if anyone knows any really good spots to lvl Rifleman so it doesnt take me months to lvl like it did for me with TKA. Is the best thing to do is go into groups to the Geno Cave or do missions on Dantooine or something? If you have any tips or maybe some macros that you use please let me in on it .

Awesome thx. Any tips on what attack to use on them? Headshot 2...Mind bleed...regular shot

I'm curious as to what you need to do as well, Itried savage quenker missions and I keep dieing...

or you could join a solo quenker group and get some of those 5 quenker per spawn missions


about 50k xp per mission, times that by 2 and you get 100k xp per set of missions. im 3024 using dxr-6 and takes me 30-35 minutes to complete a set. so that 100k xp every 30-35 minutes. not to bad

I get 50-60k xp per random spawn lair for rontos. The random spawn lairs pop more creatures.

Takes you 30-35 min to do 2 quenker lairs? I was doing them in 15 mins easy, savage. Just get about 60m away from the lair, use a good AoE(I used flushing shot 2)till the lair is dead, the AoE wont hit them at point blank unless they are right in front of you, but it will get them on the path to the lair. Those AoEs are a nice damage multiplier, so you can drop them in 1 or two shots. The ones not getting hit near you will run back to the lair to heal it and you will usually end up hitting them along the way. For any leftovers after the lair is destroyed, just use point blank area or single shots to finish them off.


To help you find Savage quenker missions faster, look for missions that are 6.8 or 6.9k, that's ALWAYS a savage quenker mission and pick ones in the same direction, or close to same(NW and W or NE and N, etc)..and never take any missions south, shooting in the mountains is a pain in the arse.


You will want good armor and buffs, and the missions will pay for the buffs and travel costs np. The XP will fly.

Time saving tip to follow...........


Do NOT have your gun out when you accept the savage quenker missions - You will then find that the missions are around 400-800 meters away rather than 1500 etc.... also leave the gun away until you get close to the mission then when the mission updates it only jumps by 200 or so instead of 3-400.


Mind buff, reg buff, brandy, canapes = savage quenkers worst nightmare - You should be able to clear 6-8 mission an hour doing it this way.

Yep, got 1 million xp yesterday to finish up my Rifle xp. Woot! Just need a wee bit more combat xp and I will be teh Masta!


Wish I would have know about having my rifle out when searching terminals. lol. Oh well.

Get Counter-Sniping 2.

Get a descent (but not too expensive) Disruptor Rifle.

Get a really good pet (CH or non-CH) and some good pet stims.

Go to Dathomir. Use you pet to agro all the Rancors and high-level Kwi on to itself, then hit the whole group of Rancors or Kwi with an AoE attack, Startle Shot 2 or Flushing Shot 2 (I can't remember which is better). Hit your pet with a pet stim if he gets too beat up. Kwi give as good xp as Rancors and don't hit as hard, so try them if Rancors are killing your pet. Both give pretty good amounts of meat, bone or hide. If you don't have an AoE attack yet, use a mind bleed to pull one away from the group, then when he is far enough away, have your pet tank him. Use your best Head Shot over and over until he is dead.

Tips:
  • A pet with Intimidate and high kinetic resists, and armour if possible, really helps
  • Invest in some mid-range Varasrian Brandy and Canape, you will need it.
  • High kinetic Ubese or Composite is your best friend.
  • Speed powerups until you get your rifle speed up, then damage powerups. 33% makes a huge difference in the time it takes you to kill things.


That was pretty much my plan for mastering rifleman. Plus I made about a million selling the meat and hide I collected. I burned out 2 Disruptors, 2 Laser Rifles, and 1.5 T21s. Not to mention 2 sets of Wookiee armour and many PSGs.

But it was worth it.

Do this with Conceal Shot. It may take an extra minute to kill each critter, but the extra safety is worth it.

You can get 200k-250k of rifle xp in an hour once you get fast at quenker missions

Sav. Quenkers on Dant are the way to go. Get a buff, get some decent Vasarian Brandy (350+and drinktwice)and a set of Composite Armor. Quaff your brandy and have your armor set up on the toolbar with a key to switch in and out. Don't wear armour and spam headshots. If you get rushed switch to armour and finish off - if you get low on mind just ride it out with standard shot. It gets easier the further you go, but it worked well in solo groups with the five SQs per spawn, I only got incap once, and that was because I was stupid enough to forget to switch my armor on when rushed - I may have had drunk a few glasses of wine that evening.
