Thread: avicons and the rifleman have gone missing

hmmm all the nice new avicons... and most professions get them
excluding:
marksmen, Rifleman, Pistoleer, Carbineer and Squad leader
hmmm wonder when we get ours!
oh well... not important - but thought I would fly the colours but they do not exist to fly

I thought I saw one with a Pistol. Not sure if it's suppose to be Pistoleer or BH. Or maybe both. Looks like most of the ranged professions got left out. Didn't see a Commando either.

If you go to the avicon selection part of your profile, you should be able to see what each one is by holding your mouse over it while looking at the URL thing at the bottom of your internet window. That's the best way I can think of to explain it right now

I just right-clicked on them and selected "properties" and can see the name at the end of URL, but yeah your way works too.

Jeeze, it's funny how none of the ranged professions get an icon. And we're supposed to believe that this game ISN'T grossly slanted in favor of melee'?
Oh well, at least guns are the only way to fight in space, though I was half-expecting to see a "melee' weapon" slot somewhere on theship manifest. Clearly a gigantic, ship-mountedscythe would be more powerful than a Disruptor Cannon...what were the devs thinking?
In all fairness, I don't see a Swordsman avicon either, so maybe it is just a matter of time before we get ours.

Could be. I haven't figured out what a number of those icons are yet.
