Thread: T21 OR ALR

what is the differences from a t21 andan advanced laser rifle?

post cu there isn't armor piercing , the damage of an advanced laser it's same or a bit more than a t21,

an advanced laser it's faster than a t21 , the base dps it's the same, the SAC it's the same too , then what is the differences? why the t21 it's certified at master rifleman and the advanced laser have no certification? only require a 50 level...

i'm asking cause all my krayt t21 and my exc laser rifle pre cu now are worthless and i need to buy a new one, my pre cu laser rifle now have 1100 max damage 1.8 spd and 295 base dps, my best t21 now 1100 max damage 1.85 spd and 280 base dps, i have seen some 350 dps adv laser and one 340 dps t21 ...

A laser rifle can have a scope added to it for a good accuracy bonus, it's been a while since I made a T21 but I don't think you can put a scope on it.

Well my Advnaced Laser kicks my T21's butt.

Thats why i use it =P

Damage is something like 3xx-1124

I go on frequent shopping trips, and haven't found an ALR better than my pre-CU T-21. It came across very well, and I really like the sound it makes....

Both have the same crafted cap at 1184, but with a slice or power up it can break that mark.

correct... but the T21 does pup better due to the higher minimum damage...

I've seen Laser Rifleswith higher min damage than T21's, and vice versa.

T21

465-971 @ 2.34

Accuracy Bonus: 1

Wound: 33.35%

Estimated DPS: 307.47


Advanced Laser Rifle

465-972 @ 2.35

Accuracy Bonus: 12

Wound: 13.95%

Estimated DPS: 306.17

Get whatever kind of rifle you can find with the highest damage numbers to make the multiplier on Sniper Shot that much nastier.

Only stipulation is that if you can find a rifle with a slightly lower damage but a significantly lower SAC, that may be a better purchase, simply because you'll run out of Action less often.

I have a good Pre-CR T-21, but have yet to find any weapon of any kind post-CR that is better than it. And believe me, I've looked.

Does anyone know about the weapons selection settings they discussed about the the time of the CURB, and having a selector "switch" of sorts to be placed on weapons to "punch through" Battle, Recon, Assault armor? Maybe the difference will be if they ever implement that? If not, You will just see the ALR, DXR2, E11MARKII, just the elite wepaons as anything else is about useless. I thought weapons where supposed to serve functions as the did before with the AP ratings?

this idea was removed because the devs thought it was to complex (I disagree but that is another story)
