Thread: Armor??

What type of armor can I wear now and is all my other armor useless? I am a Master Rifleman/Master Smuggler.

all recon armors


  • Ubese, Tantel, Mabari, Kashyyykian Ceremonial, Ithorian Guardian, Marine Rebel (Factional), Scout Trooper (Factional), maruader recon (loot schematic or quest (unknown at this time))

if you currently do not have recon armor but composite or some such

select each piece of armor in your inventory and wait for the radial to finish loading

a refit function will appear

select refit

select recon

select either Tantel or Ubese armor

IIRC the choices from Composite were either Bone or Padded for BattleArmor. Why is that? These types of armor are extremely weak in the game...



Dev's: Can we get the SEA mods that do not work replaced with mods that do? Also, while you're at it, make sure to update the loot table by deleting mods for SEA's that are no longer applicable. Thanks.

not anymore.. all armor of the same type has the potential to be equally strong (in reference to recon armor, ubese can be just as protective as mabari... for battle armor, bone armor can be just as strong as RIS)... the cores for each type are the same, the only difference will come from the quality of the specific resources used by each individual piece...

I havn't picked out wich one yet, but I'm turning one of my good sets of Comp into bone.

I realy like the look


And with CH/Rifles/BH Ican wear all the non species specefic armor

I usually choose Battle for versatility.

You guys forgot padded .... lol... and btw ... i've found that if you have preCU ris it rocks..

Rifleman cannot wear battle armor. I just made a piece of padded and tried.

armorsmiths now make factional armor - wait a few days to weeks to see the first of it on the scene

Why is the hindrance totally erased with the Master Cert ? (in all proffesions i mean)
I though that non-armor combatants (strawarsy-guys) would have a chance to fight as well. I think that if there were still some hindrance for masters, people who fight without armor would have a minior advantage for theirs less protection (%accy, %movement, %speed, something that have sense.
