you used burst run more than once?

Actually Jeral, your right. Riflemen are masters at PVE with the right weapons, but I believe most of the gripes are from PVP aspect of the game, considering that once you reach master or "max out" you really don't have many choices. Its either run quests all day, surrender your skills and start over, or PVP. I personally have soloed many of the "high" level mobs myself with either my old GSPs to tank, or just me using terrain to outrun em (Which works pretty well on Jedis). But congrats on soloing the gorax, I still haven't actually gone to the marauder camp to attempt him

I did it it took me an hour and a half but i did it. I am the first person on any server too ever solo a gorax. Thats right no pets, nofaction pets(or at-st's cuz i'm rebel) creature of any type help just me and the gorax man to huge monkey looking thing. I completed the last marauder mission on endor solo. i figured what the hell might as well give it a shot. I am a rifleman 2/1/1/1 and used mindshot and headshot 3, and a ton of burst run. So no more will rifleman be know as weak and pathetic if one of our own can take out a lvl 300 creature. I dont know how to post screen shots but i have a ton of em during and after the battle. The only downfall to the situation was i got terrible xp for a lvl 300 creature but +1500 to panshee standing and no item bonus for actually doing the mission. If anyone wants screen shots send me an email ingame or tell me how to post em. thanks again i really just wanted to brag and say SCORE ONE FOR RIFLEMAN!!!

Hehe, I took out a Gorax with my T21 long before that... it was easy, just follow these simple steps (note, you have to be a master to do this)...

1. find the gorax
2. go to 64m
3. strafe2, strafe2, strafe2, strafe2, strafe2...
4. die
5. clone
6. repeat

This seemed to be the fastest way. I could do more damage with strafe2 than I could with a mind bleed. Running was an option, but I found the gorax to be capable of outrunning my burstrun, so I decided it would just be easier to unload my mind with Strafe2 then walk back to do it again...

Step 4 die, I don't think I call that soloing something. Soloing involves only one life any combat profession could do what you just did with life after life.

My goal is to take 5 hours and solo a krayt and Dark Jedi using burst run... its gona be fun

Good luck soloing a dragon. But you never will because everytime you go out there there is some jerk imperal with three at-st killing them.

I wish I was that jerk imperial with 3 atst's... I think you can only have 1 now anyways... Ya we can solo just about anything, but it only works like 1/3'rd of the time and it takes hours.... It's really not worth it..

How can you know you are the first person on any server?

I've done it too, it's not hard. Stack bleeds then burst run away. Repeat once or twice and you have a dead gorax. Whoo-hoo. It's just a little easier for riflemen because our bleeds do more damage so it doesn't take as long. Of course I'm sure commando's with their fire bleeds or Pistoleers/BH's could stack torso shot and their bleeds too to the same effect.

I also was able to solo an ancient krayt that way, although I died a couple times because of warping

Not so much a "GREAT VICTORY FOR RIFLEMAN!!!" As it is a stupid move by SoE.

Solo'd one, probably the first one ever killed, at least the first on my server. Had a pet out but never used it, not that a charred krevol could do anything to a gorax anyway.

Anyone with patience and bleed attacks can do this. A pistoleer could do it, it would just take longer.

I solo'd a giant krayt a few days ago, though it wouldn't let me loot it. :-p

I sent Taurin a PM about how it's done and he said they already know about it and will be fixing it.

How are you going to kill it with bleed attacks? Gorax's are faster than you running...
