do riflemans still have this skill post CU? just wondering, be nice to have with the DB timer as it is

nope - no one does as a skill from a profession.

well....
there possibly is a ranged deathblow butevidence of it working is hard to come by. It is not related to any profession though.

It doesn't work. I've tried it several times. Invalid Target everytime.

This is a key issue for the rifleman in PvP, especially when combined with the Bounty Hunter class.
Not allowing for a ranged death blow with a ranged profession is beyond stupid.

yes ...i've lost several bounties do to not getting to the mark in time after using my initial ranged attacks to get first incap....
the disparity between the incap timer and the deathblow warmup is frustrating...most jedi i fight are only incapped for 5-6 seconds.
i try going for the triple incap but after 2 incaps...they usually get the full heal on the 3rd time getting up.
Ranged DB for ranged classesis a NECESSITY!!!
either that or brig back 30 second incap timer
p.s. im a master rifleman so just incase i get flamed for talking about bounties in the rifleman forum...all my initial attacks are from 65-75 m

I guess it's everyone's play style on the fregeuentcy of DB's.

i have numerous tripple incaps to my name, and anly about 10 DBs, on the battlefield i dont have a chance to DB someone as they are normally so far away

I understand that the developers did not want people to be able to 'insta-DB' people.. but is there a way you might be able to nudge them for a ranged deathblow that has a timer, same as regular deathblow?
Its no mystery to you, or any other ranged profession (effects riflemen more), that we are almost forced to triple incap players now in order to kill them in PvP. I don't grief people.. and I don't consider this griefing.. because if I were to run 50m+ to go 'DB' someone.. they are going to get up long before I even get there.
So I think it would help everyone out if the development team added a ranged deathblow, but ask them to put the timer or whatever on it so its not like a instaDB.

Very odd.
I have had three occasions to use it, and it worked perfectly every time. The cooldown on it is just silly, but it works.
Where they no longer incapped by the time it tried to go off? That combined with lag gets me "invalid target" on a lot of specials targeted at people once they go down, would imagine it would be the same for one that's supposed to work on them when they're already down - but getting back up.
