Just wondering what the prevailing RM opinion on this subject is. Any insight is welcome.

I would say best crafted - tuskan rifle

best overall the LD-1 or the ESSR (falleen hyper rifle)

For those who have not seen "just how sexy" it looks...........my rifleman screenie is attached holding the hyper rifle.

My only problem is now as a sexy mon cal to know weather the ladies are hanging all over me for me, or for my rifle?

Can a Berserker bypass these if you use really good Gorax shards? Just curious.

Thanks for all the input and I second the question about the berserker. With good Gorax Shards can it be a great rifle?

Saw on the WS forums that it caps at 886 dmg or something, but with good shards that would leave a 12pt WS room to make the speed and the SAC really incredible (esp since gorax shards drop spd as well).

Couple that with, say, a lvl 4 dmg slice, or a lvl 3 dmg and lvl 1 spd and crit...Could end up with a very tastey berserker. But this is all just a hypothesis I've tossed around while at work today. Might need to consult our WS friends to find out something more definite?

And if that's true w/ a 'zerker - wonder if the Tusken could similarly be tweaked.

That really is sexy...

How do these compare to energy rifles? Don't know much about rifles, always wanted to do rifleperson, and I'm considering making one, but definitely interested in Kinetic damage capabilites.

I have an advanced tusken, unsliced that does 830 max dam and has a +16 Accuracy mod (thats w/o a PuP)

Fires very fast, and it is easy to get new ones

Best Kinetic damage rifle to my knowledge is a bowcaster but you have to go wookiee to use it, hehe.

mine does 1136 without a pu and fires at about 2.3 seconds. With my template it is around 580 DPS.
