Thread: Trandoshan Hunting Rifle Schematic Found!!!

Got it from the Avatar Platform out of the lockbox they fixed today. You can get the combinations for the lockboxes by freeing the wookiees from their cells. Barrells which I assumed are needed for crafting the rifle can be looted from the Blackscales on the platform. Enjoy!

Is that the Retraining box? Cause when I went to check on it, it was still in the wall...

I don't recall the name of code for the box specifically. It was the box that you could access before, but not get anything from.

How were you able to access the box a second time if you had tried before? The quest shows complete in my journal (even though I got no reward), and when I go to the box, it tells me I don't have the code. Freeing the wookiees a second time does not give me the code again either.

Ahh I did not access them a second time. I took a different toon that had not yet triggered those quests on the platform. I think those of us who had the quest "completed" but didn't get anything out of the box before Pub 19 are getting the moldy garden hose.

How are the stats of the crafted rifle compared to that of the quest rifle?

OMG. I came so close to offering 3mill creds to a pilot for to do the quest for this rifle. Where does the schematic quest start?
Also if I gave the schematic to any weaponsmith, will it turn out the same? or do I have to be wary with who makes it and what they use?

as with all crafted products final results are dependent on quality of materials and the quality of the looted component in it. (think DE-10 and yellow barrels)

Thanks for the reply. I have just finished my trial period, I am so n00by its untrue 
Is there anyway to be sure the weaponsmith you choose only uses the best resorces in the first place?

Can I just ask, getting the scematic for the rifle doesnt include fighting in space does it? :S
