Hello!
Today I got RM 0/0/0/3 but had to logout just after training. I couldn't experiment with my brand new special "Flurry Shot 2". And believe me,I am anxious....this is my first ranged AoE since I dropped Fan Shot from Pistoleer!
I've read that "Flushing Shot 2" is a must since it has a great damage, but I have to climb up to 0/0/3/3 to get it and I'llreceive just some block abilities at the same time. On the other hand, I was guessing if using my rifle XP to develop Snipping (that means accuracy and conceal shot) would be a nicer option since I'd get Mindshot2 and Headshot 3 which I've heard is a massive attack.
Cone attack or Accurate snipping?
I'm also CH (4221) but I doubt my pet can tank a pack of huurton huntress for more than a minute. Will I be able to wipe them out with a 200-475 /7.8T21?
I know, I know... part of the fun in the game is to discover this kind of things by yourself, but I've master some other ranged profs (Carbineer, Pistoleer and BH if that applies) and I've spent most of my enthusiasm for wasting time noting down average DPS of my weapons
So I beg you to give me your feedback about my question.
Thank you all in advance.

Any thought? Any idea? It's not a matter of live or death but I'd really appretiate your inputs.

With a pet tank, I would get Flushing2, go prone, and wipe the floor with them. Flurry2 is not as powerful as Flushing2.

It all depends on how you want to level rifleman. If you just want to GTT (Grind to Template), then use flurry 2 (purely for the AoE) while your pet tanks until you get flushing 2. Then use flushing 2 while your pet tanks until you get to sniping 4, and then fill in the boxes as you get them. Flurry 2 isn't a very good shot versus creatures, however. The only advantage is that you can hit more with an AoE.
You may want to invest in a better tanking pet. With CH skills, you should be able to control one that can withstand a little more punishment. I also recommend investing in a different rifle, perhaps a speed sliced T-21 (they can get down to 4.2 with a slice and powerup). Even better would be a speedy laser or E11.
If you don't care how long it takes, then i would train across (1-1-1-1, 2-2-2-2, etc.) And try out the new shots as you get them. My personal rifleman journey went 0-0-0-3, 0-1-0-3 (conceal shot is fun for a while, and lets you hunt above your weight class), 4-1-0-3 (missing is bad), 4-1-4-3 (yipee! flushing 2 rocks!), then master.
Good luck and Rifle speed.

Thank you for your advices
Finally I went for Snipping I in order to get some accuracy... I really hate miss1/3 of my shots. Also bought a little better pet in order to better tank while I evolve as rifleman.
I decided to not grind the profesion. As I'm also CH and novice medic, there are a lot of fun things I can do while leveling. And I love to hunt lvl 30 lairs without the need of medical buffs!
Darn someone who wants to play the game and not grind. /HI5
BTW I leveled rifleman doing faction missions and hunting pirates on LOK, they stay at range (mostly) and don't mob 'ya
since you are CH, that doesn't really aplly this is more for anyone else who happens to look here for advice.

If you have a tank go with the AoE attacks. If you are going solo then you will want the accuracy.

Weapon wise, get a DXR-6 rifle asap. Cert is at counter sniping 2, at they can get very low speed with a healthy slice <3.5. High damage, ap2, and acid damage type makes it he weapon of choice for hurtoons and quenkers. Or the e-11 until then.

t21 stats 3.9 speed 250 (est.) min 400 max, with scope for extra accuracy, and AP3 of course
