So, hm... lets see... i will first post the link to the original picture so you can understand the situation...

My question is this... does conceal shot work in PVP to damage players while remaining invisible to them? Can the player see the blaster bolt?

Thanks.

conceal shot does work in pvp - you do remain invisible.

it does not do 3k damage trhough armor and damage reduction

blaster bolts are visible - some are more visible then others.

Been reading many threads in the rifleman forum to learn what other people are doing. So the worst thing is that the enemy will see your blaster bolts and be able to uncover you if they can heal themselves fast enough or run fast enough... solution I guess would be to use a tusken style rifle?

conceal hits hard but not that hard in pvp due to timers etc so generally you will survive the attack (unless 8 rifleman open up on you)

Tusken Rifle is a great choice

as is the LD-1 but they are reward weapons that are much more rare. (especially the ld-1)

why is the LD-1 useful for conceal shot? I have one and I dont see the correlation?

Because they can't see the bullets very easily, compared to bright red laser beams (only applies in PVP).

Correct. It isless of an arrow saying look here -=concealed rifleman hiding at the end of this beam=-

Your joking right. The LD-1 is ungodly easy to get. I soloedall the quests (including the arena)on my MBH/Mrifle/4000 cm char. The arena was a cake walk. 7000 kin resist comp n an off the shelf laser rifle was all I needed for the arena. The Fallaan one is rarer cause it involves a space mission. Most people dont do well in space.

LD-1 is rarer (literally) mostly because most people feel you are failing the quest to actually even enter the mission to get the LD-1 (and most do not even realize that you can only get it if you intentional fail the one mission). The Falleen Hyper rifle is much more common.

A couple of questions.

1. Is the LD-1 and the Fallon a reward for the same quest?

2. Could someone provide a link to a good quest guide for the quest (or quests)?

3. Of the 2 rifles, which is better - can anyone post a screenie or type in the stats of these weapons?

Also the LD-1 n I believe the Fallaan are both Kinetic rifles. Which tear up guys wearing recon armor n all those evil jedi wearing psgs.
