One of the Tempest weaponcrafters makes what he refers to as "Heavy T21s." They're T21s with a built in stock, which raises the damage but also raises the HAM. Their damage is 167-393, but the HAM costs are 66/60/99. So I've always avoided them.

Once I hit Master and found that I could fire a T21 as fast as my Spraystick, I thought it would be useful to go out and get a high-damage T21 strictly for autofire purposes. And since autofire doesn't use HAM, I figured these Heavy T21s would do the trick nicely. So I went and bought three of 'em and took 'em to a slicer.

Those are nice rifles, i have something similar on Bloodfin made by the mighty Zav of zulu corps, similar kind of stats but mine, sliced and powered up is at 698, i don't know the speed cos i stopped looking when i hit master lol Also i know that Enott has made some very nice Krayt T21's, stats well into the 700's and with HAM at a range lower than a laser rifle! the damage iswithout a stock! Would love to see one with a stock. If you are a master make sure you have one of these "heavy t21's" cos they really are awesome. I have a really special laser with stats i won't even say but i can tell you that even with that i still use the t21 alot of the time.If you are Bloodfin and want some help finding one i will be happy to try and help you out, just send me a tell in game. Just a word of warning, that T21 will burn out quick if you tack on that PU. Believe me I know, just think about it this: u fire that t21 1 to1.5 seconds per.....ur going to do plenty of damage and the PU will give out quicker than u think. When doing just straight auto fire you really dont need the PU at master. That is a great t21 and u should do what u can to lengthen its life. Just a thought...its what I do with my +500 t21's

99 Mind cost per special is far too much.
I'd prefer a 400 damage T21 with just 66 or 71 mind cost. Calculate the lesser mind-usage with the 2.3x or 3x multiplier at specials and i'll bet you make more damage with lower mind/lower damage T21s, the time doesn't count that much at master-rifleman anyway...

You did read where I said I don't use this for specials, right? It's strictly for autofire, and therefore doesn't burn any HAM at all.

I have a T21 with a mind cost of 99 and I use specials all the time

The secret is I use powerups that reduce the mind cost and increase the max damage. My thinking is the more damage I do, the less number of timesI have to actually shoot it, and the less mind it takes the longer I can shoot it when I have to. A powerup with 16% mind reduction PU takes it down to only 83, which is very close to the standard 79 i see on the T21's with no stock. A 32% mind reduction PU would make it 67. I powerup mine and use specials because it's only worth to me what I can get out of it, which is huge hits in PVE and PVP.

You are right tho, it does degrade faster and I would hate to lose a nice gunthat hasa rare slice.

Almost exactly the same as mine except mine shoots at 693 max damage, although my powerup is +33% max damage

Ham costs on mine are 56/50/88

On Muon Gold and Breath Of Heaven you will spam specials without your mind bar budging. That new T21 is your best friend in PVP
