Thread: Current Issues *11-11-03*
Hello,
I'd like to encourage everyone to post a list of current issues regarding our profession. Anything "currently" in the game that you feel needs addressed. I'm notseeking to add new skills or features but, what our community feels we need addressed to the Devs.
As of right now the Devs are seeking each profession's "Top 5" issues. Once I get a good list for you all, I'll send overour top five. On another note, I will also make a continued effort push any of the other issues that won't make the top 5 and get answers the best that I can for us over time.

i have 2 issues....
startle1 and startle2 are worse than flushing1 and flushing2, for higher boxes on the countersniping tree. worse in the sense that they are the same in damage, time, ham cost, but do not grant stun
also, as someone else pointed out-- no high damage, single target, random ham shot. seems silly.
Several of our rifles are broken.
- Spraystick should be doing Acid damage.
- Not sure that SG92 is doing Cold damage now, but if not, it is supposed to be.
- And if I remember right, the Tusken should be doing a different kind of damage also... but I dont remember exactly what it was right now.
-Tusken should be doing Kinetic Dmg
-T-21 should not have to take (11) tissues to make it a krayt weapon, especially since the tissues do not stack
-Increase our range atleast by a little bit considering Combat medics will be able to throw disease/poison all that crap at 70m now... the fact that they can throw farther then we can shoot makes no sense at all
but even if these aren't addressed... we still own lol
2 - Rifle damage disparity vs Pistols.
3 - Prone warping is highly annoying
4 - Headshot3 should be a no-brainer over Headshot2, most feel HS2 is better.
5 - Startle2 needs something, maybe blind, maybe a bit more damage. As it stands now, flush2 is always a better choice.
Here are mine:
1) Warping kills me. I warped 2x last night into the middle of a mountain squill spawn and 2x they warped on top of me.
2) T21 DPS is about half that of certain "un-named" weapons. Needs to ether be increased/un-nerfed or the HAM costs need to be lowered
3) Spraystick should be shooting acid and the Tusken should be shooting kinetic.
4) Conceal and Surprise shots are both still broken. So is takecover I believe.
5) A 3 second cap would kill masters of this profession. Actually this should be my number one issue. With the current DPS of other ranged combat professions we would be the worst off if they were to do this. Plus the spraystick would be a useless pile of crap for non-master players.
6) There is no way you can fix this but its my opinion the devs hate us.
1. Warping mobs on top of my head ick...
2. T-21 needs to be un nerfed. This is supposed to be our elite weapon, make it so.
3. Added range for rifles. I see no difference between a pistol and rifle. Rifle should be able to hit from 150 out.
4. Spraystick....should be acid.
5. Mindshot 4 at master would be nice
I as a master rifleman am pretty happy with the profession but i have a few suggestions to improve it.
1. Tusken rifle doing kenetic again
2. t21 doing blast again
3.t21 way to hard to craft considering its dmg
4. animal warping
5. are rediculas low range
