Problem #2:
Eyeshot. Everyone is worried it’s too powerful.
Solution #2:
The best solution I’ve seen for this problem is to split eyeshot into 2 separate commands. The original eyeshot would move into master, and a new different mindshot command would replace the existing newbie one. This would maintain the power of the original move and grant a new secondary move.
Cool! New secondary moves!Sigh. Unless the combo moves offer something valuable, the most we get is cover. Oooh. Can't wait.

We were arguing that Eye shot was too powerful. So what do the devs do? They keep eye shot, AND ADD ANOTHER MIND TARGETING SHOT! **edit**???
The way I interpret this, everyone...is that the second tiereye shot will be less powerful that the one that is there now. This is has huge implications, and I foresee manyBH dabblersdropping the pistol line (hopefully) because of it.
I can't see that this is an all bad thing. But then, I haven't read the entire post yet. 'Bout to do that now. If I change my mind on this, I'll amend my comments.
You guys should be jumping for joy about this.
They are moving eye shot as it is to master. 99.9999% of Bounty Hunters out there are just pistoleers with BH pistol line. the eye shot that THESE 99.99999% will get will be a MUCH MUCH weaker version, leaving the current version to only masters (which are like negative population almost). There are probably 10x more MASTER RIFLEMAN on my server than master bounty hunters in the game on all servers (less than 20).
You guys will own the weak eye shot. You guys did already with shooting frickin T21's at 1 sec
I agree that the second one is supposed to be underpowered. But why should they have it AT ALL? If they get Eye Shot, fine. Move it to master. But to give them two? And I bet THEY WILL STACK.
Wow. You add this to the speed proposal, and the rest of our negatives, and I really wonder if the Rifle profession is being phased out altogether. (But wait, we can get another 5% in cover . . . I am SOOO excited) ![]()

Lowca, you're right about the stacking. My bad. The way a friend of mine was using it, it sure looked like a bleed.
I remain unmoved, however, about two mind shots in BH, regardless of the rationale. It dilutes the value of a class that is already in trouble. As for the 1 sec round, well as you can see, that is about to become a thing of the past. Now there is no real benefit to Master Rifleman, so your server will likely see a lot more BH's soon.

How many master bounty hunters really exist out there? You'll have less wacked out cross classing and the "dabbling" everyone complains about. Read your own **edit** fixes, they'll be good ones. You'll have your damage freaking upped. God i hate these boards.

Yeah dude, I don't know what he's smokin', but he doesn't seem to have a lot of foresight.
Even if they get a weaker form of eyeshot. Say something that only does mind damage without the blind. Basically the BH's get a headshot 3 lets say. That isn't the issue. The are dropping pistol speed to .5 seconds. The HAM costs on pistols are very low. This neadshot ability will still be a pistol special. So instead of getting Eyeshot every second you will be getting TWO headshots 3's per second. The HAM costs are still very low so it will be spammed.
Not really an issue in PvE but the main complaint has been about spamming Eyeshot in PvP. They've just doubled the spamming, almost the same effect (targets the mind but no blinding), still targeting mind. So they haven't really solved anything.
Hopefully the new BH eyeshot will be like this:
Health cost x1
Action cost x1
Mind cost x10
Firing delay x5
Damage modifier x.75
Throw in a chance to make the BH spontaniously explode when he uses this ability and we got a deal.
