thats awesome.....but why not use the SG82 ? canyon krayts have 20% resist to it....and still it would take more then 19 mins to solo a krayt wif 370k HAM......

Because it has no armor piercing and the krayt has heavy armor, so it will only do 10% damage after armor and resists. The T21 is heavy armor piercing so it does 40% damage after resists plus it has higher base damage.
Concealshot is random pool which distributes damage 60/30/10 percent (I think) between health/action/mind so that almost doubles the time required to kill it.
Also, krayts warp around a lot and you'd probably get killed before you do 5% damage to it.
i've tried this, it doesn't work... about every 100 shots i get a bleed with concealshot...
also for the very large HAM pools for me they usually are about even in damage taken... anything over 50k HAM i seem to have all pools about even upon killing the creature... i've tested this out on many juvy krayts and blurg raptors... its almost always faster to target their mind... these are the 2 creatures i've tested the concealshot out on the most... they have high HAM's and i don't have much fear of them, i repsect them though...
my advice is not to try it on anything larger than a juvy... plus there are better ways to solo these without useing house and harvestor exploits...

conceal shot does random damage to all three bars in a 3-2-1 ratio out of every 6 shots 3 will land health 2 action 1 mind on average. so multiply your time by 6 so your actually looking at over an hour to conceal shot it. it takes 17-19 minutes to kill it using headshot3 if your the only one doing damage. even if by some miracle no noobs come along, you dont get stalked by it, you dont miss, it will still de-spawn before you can kill it with conceal shot.

69 meters? Did I miss an update on range?
no big creatures kimos and krytes in particular ar never where they seem to be... its a pathing issue... i sually watch the range modifer above a cretures head if i want to concealshot it... as soon as it hits the + i stop and shoot... then i'll look at the range, for small things its dead on, but the bigger you go, the more out of whack the range is...

If the range is calculated based on your co-ordinates relative to the creature's co-ordinates and comes out at 64m, then the physical distance a bolt would have to travel from my rifle barrel to the creature's skin would be 64m minus the 'radius' of the creature itself, which with a krayt dragon could well be 5 meters, giving a shooting distance of 59m. Or firing at the maximum of 64m (relative to the gun), your co-ordinates would be that 64m max plus the creature's 'radius' giving 69m.
Is that how it seems to anyone else?
