As a master rifleman i was wondering which armor i will be qualified for....my other profession is tkm so i know there will be no qualfications for armor there

yeah i was wondering that samething...There needs to be a list of what professions get what armor

at least i know im not the olny person wondering....ive got a built up char and im pissed to hear composite will be gone...as a twi'lek i dont have many options on headwear

I am happy to see your topic, in fact i asked myself the same question.
As rifleman we are certificated for the recon armor, like bio engineer, pitolier and smuggler.
Now i was asking myself. To prepare the CU, i grinded a MBH to get the assault armor as i will be cartificated. A friend told me that once i will hold my T21 , i will not be able to wear the assault armor!? Is that right?!
Second, maybe then is that more interesting to couple profession with a smuggler or a pistolier to reach better stats of accuracy and so on ?

i cant awnser either of thoes questions but i do have one comment on cu.....its gonna fu*k everything up...its good as it is i wish soe would be smart enough to just thow in the armor and weapons and leave

It is in several threads on many of teh forusm.. But the Basics are Rifles get Recon Armor. As for teh Armor weapon question.. I asked that in the Ranger forums and was told that you will be able to use Any weapon you are certified with in any armor you are certified with... Of course that is what they were told by the Devs... I have yet to see teh code in action as I can;t wear armor on the TC yet.

- Recon armors are ours.
- If you are cert'd to an armor you can wear it and use any weapon you are cert'd for
- TK defences replace armor in the above statement so if you have a weapon you can use it and still get benefit of TK defenceskills
- TK defences fail if you use armor.
Reconnaissance: Strong vs. energy, weak vs. kinetic
Battle:No strengths, No weakness
Assault: Strong vs kinetic, weak vs energy

Wait a minute, riflemen can wear armor? And I have been going all this time without? I feel so dumb.
I hate armor. The only time I wear it is when I am grouped with other people who are in the you must be buffed and wearing me best set of cookie cutter composite mentality. Sure, I might not be in it for the big game, I have no desire to grind out jedi, and will probably never see the DWB again, but I still enjoy the game. Hell, nothing makes a day gone wrong get much better than hitting Endor drunk on brandy with a couple of rifles...and maybe some Muon in case I really need it.

I hated armor and only used it for an occasional endgame raid... until we got all sorts of new armor.
right now, I'm sporting the "Ninja Space Pirate" look, complete with metal arm. clank clank!
besides, the Endor look has ALWAYS been ewok fur or maurader armor. anything else and you're just a tourist.
