Thread: are there any kinetic craftable rifles worth buying/ having made?

What's the stats on the uberest tusken rifle you've ever seen? I'm no wookie, so bowcaster is out of the question

Max 887.8%
Speed 1.95
Wound 13.8%
SAC 82
It is possible I think to get an accuracy bonus as well on this as it can use a scope
compared to the ALR
Less damage but it is kinetic
Faster
same sac and accuracy bonus possible.

I know you can make a bezerker that can lay into someone pretty nice. I forget the stats but i gave a bezerker to my rifle bud that had a sac/damage capped hlr. He was doing jack to me with the hlr. I have primus layered RIS and a nice psg. I gave him the bezerker and he was able to do loads more damage. I know the bezerker is not the best kinetic rifle but it's something to look into if your looking for kinetic damage, especially your opponent is wearing recon muhahhahhhaha

berserker has same stats as the Tuskan (but is harder to make due to loot components needed from corvette)

Out of curiosity, do you know what the min damage was on this? Or maybe just ballpark estimate?

You should be able to get the min on a Tusken/Berserker up to around 350-360 or so pre-slice. That would let you get close to 390 if your max isstill low enough to leave room for an 8% damage slice. If the weaponsmith experiments on damage instead of speed on the subcomponents, you might be able to get a tad higher, but not by much. If you don't care about SAC, you could use a looted stock to add on another 20 min or so.

heh, luckly I have some that have a couplemin of 410 PreSlice/PUP, paid rather cheap for it (20K), the SAC though was 104
Can't have it all I guess.........

Hopefully the devs will give us a break and release a few qualifying kinetic based rifles in the new expansion. One can dream...

you'd be amazed at what a bezerker rifle can do to someone not prepared for kinetic damage

Those Kinetic Wookie Assault Bowcasters are really, really nice. A great one is very hard to come by at Ahazi.
I salute any Wookie players that use their traditional weapons all the time over alot of these loot ones or an ALR.

I got sick of making Featherweight FWG5s out of Reinforced Casings so made a batch of these on Wanderhome:
Tusken Rifle
Unsliced
2.48 Speed
336-887 (damage capped)
82 SAC (special attack capped)
246.19 DPS
They are slightly less damage than a good Gorax crafted Czerka Dart carbine. Since I used all loot components (except barrel) I had to put a price of 2.25million. I have not sold 1 of them yet - but this might be due to the fact our server is dying!
I don't know if the Kinetic damage would make up for the loss in damage as compared to a Advanced Laser Rifle.
They only take 1 reinforced casing so it's easier to make than ALR.
Also, the only cert on them is Lvl 40 (no prof requirement).
