Ok, I played with the char creation a lot and Humans have an upper limit of 1100 for all secondary stats. And a lower limit for all stats of 400.

So, a Human character can make mind/focus/willpower 800/1100/1100. Or 1000/1000/1000. You get the idea.

A Zabrak, considered to have "incredible willpower" (quote from the manual) has a max of focus willpower 500/900.


Apparently, Human chars had a hard limit of 600 max for secondary attributes. Somewhen, probably around the october patch, this was changed. Now I would like to know, is that be design (and if so, why?), or is this a bug? If the latter, will this get fixed?


I think this is quite an important question. I played with those high stats (spices/food), and it DOES make a big difference. While I may not restart my char and grind again all way, I would strongly recommend that anyone who starts a new rifleman chooses human. That is, if we can be sure this does not get fixed/changed/nerfed in the future.


Klawlegna, could you try to get a response on this please? I could also try to ask this in the discussion forum, but I am too disillusioned to think it would get an official answer there...

Well as a Zabrak and now knowing they redesigned the human mind stats, I think its unfair to myself and other Zabraks. In the beginning when I started playing SWG that was the MAIN reason why I started a Zabrak character so that I could have the benifits of maybe one day being great in the medical field and a rifleman. The Zabrak race is advertised as being the best characters for the mind? This is now all false and actually yourbeing lied to if your a player looking to create a character on SWG that would be targeted towards having great mind stats after reading the description of each race. Do I wanna see Humans nerfed? Hell no, Id never wish a nerf upon anything in this manner but I would like to see the Zabraks regain there reputation as being the best race in the mind category. Wether it be a faster regen rate or larger pools makes no difference to me.

Yeah Jubeii, leave the humans alone, and increase the Zabrak's mind.

Yes. Zabrak, supposed to have the "strongest willpower" is maxed at 500/900 focus/willpower. Other species are capped at 500/500. Now just try and put a lot of armor on to bring your stats down to that. This is how we feel everyday (while the Zabrak is still rather good compared ot other races).

But yes, by no means I wanted to say "please nerf Humans!". Rather increase the caps on other races as well.

Please Klawlegna, when you ask the devs about this please have them change the secondary mind stats for Twi'leks.. with the already high HAM costs it really sucks to only have 500/500 focus/will..

All the time I wish I had choosen human, then at least I could be Doctor and migrate all to mind and buff.. And I would be able to migrate it to a totallly differenet setup.. please ask if the twi'lekssecondarymindstats can be atleast somewhat higher. 600/600 or 700/700 would do a lot..

I asked several CSRs about it. They all said its a bug and it will be fixed. They were already aware of it but from what they told me, problem is somewhere deeper, so the fix is not trivial (translated to normal speech they dont know whats going on. :smileysurprised. Message to all human riflemans: Use it now, when you can have it. You will be fixed. I am Zabrak fyi.

From the feedback I've gotten and the information I've gathered this is a known issue. But, from my understanding itis alreadyunder heavy consideration and in the near future will be getting a full review. I wishI had a more detailed response for us on it but, I hope this helps.
