Just made master riflewoman tonite!!

hey i am a novice rifleman and for some reason im having a hard time gaining exp. I noticed you said you gained 400 exp or rifleman in one night....that is insane. Iwould like to know how that was possible and any other advice you might have please.

/flushingshot2 on any decent Mob in the game in a small group will yield 2-5k per critter. Or you can just /concealshot Giant Dune Kimos till you die of boredom. I did that a bit yesterday. Killed a couple and the darn things never even stood up to see what was putting holes in em.

Mistan, get flushing shot 2. Im a holocron-rifleman who started last friday. Took me 4 dang days to get 0032 ( had combat-xp from other profession )in rifle ( without pet ) with some serious playing. After flushing shot ? 550k xp in 3 hours today on Yavin 4 with a pet ( ATST - but anything goes here...the atst stands for like 5% of the damage done ) All in all since saturday Im now 4033...I will have mastered it in less than a week. And I play like 6 hrs per day ( A bit much I know...but its not like the superpowergamers )

actually it isnt hard with the help of a pair of big cats. i was using a grandwrix and a cowardly gurreck to grind out CHxp as well as rifle altho rifle last nite really was secondary to CH. i run piket missions off of dantooine imp outpost the 9.4k ones for piket plains walkers. i kill everything between my mission whatever pops up on the radar. hurrtons vexed vorritors everything.

since i was doing it solo i got all the XP at an average of 3.5-5.4k rifle xp depending on the monster. my tactic depending on the monster again was to MS2 and HS3 till dead. much faster than using flushing or one of the other area attacks on groups up to about 3 critters. anymore than that and flushing2 is better.

i have my stats tilted severely towards rifle. i play human and they are balanced out to:
400/500/400 400/500/400 800/1100/900 my T21 has 70 mind use and HS3 drains 92 mind a shot.

i dont run out of mind points on even the most numerous groups of monsters. as for how that will be tonite since i am now master i dont know. i may end up having to find a slightly slower T21 to offset the mind cost, if migrating more stats into regen is not enough.

i'm almost there too.. 3 boxes of the concealment tree left (and that'll let me finish master rifle special abilities, which i'm also in right now). so, i should master within the week.

incidentally, i remember bumping into you alot on the bh forums barb. can't say as i blame you for ditching bh to go rifle.

yeah i used to be BH ended up 3444 then got disgusted with the lack of even the simplest fixes like reversing the droid speed modifier values.

but this morning before i got to work i logged in and tried out master rifle skillz on some savage relic quenkers.... all i can say is OMG what a difference master makes. its like a completely different class at master. the fire rate with a T21 and the slowest special is insane. strafe2 literally kicks all sort of ass. i am definately going to have to rework tactics to deal with the special drain rates. i will probably commission a krayt E11 to deal with it and use the T21 only on the realllly nasty stuff. dunno but tactics need a serious revamp because of the drastic nature of the difference between master and non-master.

when you get master it is a whole nother world...

congrats! the speed takes a bit of getting used to, i don't really even special anymore though haha. have fun!
