Novice rifleman please go up the counter-sniping or abilities tree first. your xp gaining will dramatically improve once you get either flurry or flushing shot 2. then concentrate on the other trees. i went up the sniping, then concealment and abilites. now im at 3rd box of countersniping and im getting more xp than i will end up needing at a super speed. if i would of just killed those savage quenkers while having flushing or flurry shot 2, i would of hit master a long time ago. take it from me and the countless Masters out there: go for flushing or flurry first. xp gaining will go through the roof.

Okay, I'm already 2-1-0-2. But I'm getting counter-sniping next.

Thanks. I'm 0101 right now. I went for the Conceal shot because I heard it was great, but damn, it's so slow.

Up until today, I was going to go up the Sniping line first because of the added accuracy and specials on every box, but after seeing your post (and a couple others saying this was the best) - I've definitely decided to go up the counter-sniping tree first.

Yup,

Way back in the day someone told me to level sniping first....and myself not paying ANY attention to what the boxes actually contained...took the advice...

Then...I got flushing shot 2 and felt like an idiot.

Since then I have screamed in parking lots on the planet Earth...."park your car here...but go out and level countersniping first!"

Started countersniping chain letters

Changed boxes of cereal into real life replicas of the counter sniping 3 box... and taken a count of the pieces inside...forever regarding corn flakes as experience points.

At night I sit on the porch...or in the kitchen...

Pounding down cheese sandwiches and mumbling about the benefits of a powerful area attack...

Sniping first was viable when non-CH pets were decent tanks and everyone wasn't fully buffed all the time, but after pets were nerfed and buffs became readily available countersniping became the ideal first line.

Doh! I had totally missed that fact when I was looking at the trees. Now I feel like a total idiot...

Thanks for pointing that out to me. Countersniping it is....

Don't understand... Why wouldn't you go up the abilitiies branch first to get the rifle speed bonuses and flurry shot? Is flushing shot really that much better?

Sorry if this is a total noob question, but I have only just reach enough rifle xp to get my novice rifleman tag and honestly don't know.

Flushing2 has much better damage/speed than flurry2, but since abilities is on combat exp you don't have to choose between the two. If you have enough combat exp saved from other things, flurry2 will work nicely until you get enough rifle exp for flushing2.

What _Dezza_ said: The first three trees are pure RIFLE XP. The fourh tree is pure COMBAT XP. So work on the first three trees and you will automatically build up points for the fourth tree.

i would suggest that u guys gets atleast snipe 2 first though, or no matter what attack u have if u miss most the time it is useless lol. but ya after that countersniper is the way to go, atleast untill u get to counter3, after that u can pick between counter 4 (not really any better, the attacks ar interchangable except for the status affects) or accuracy. but besides maybe conceal 1, get that line last.

Back in the day I levelled the sniping tree just for the accuracy and the cool title
