The game launched, I liked rifleman weak though it may have seemed. We were nerfed back to using our rifles for clubs, then once again we became FOTM. I've been a rifleman since launce. No jedi for me, just my rifle. Any other old vets still on these boards? Im just curious how many are left amid all the posts of "New MRM in the game!"
I hate it when FOTM hits your profession.

I'm one.
Hell I remember not seeing another rifleman for days on Starsider.

Hopefully, the CB will bring us back to the old days where we were good, but it wasn't easy unless you were smart :smiley-hopeful:

I am still one. I dropped Master Doctor however and picked up Master Brawler/Master Swordsman and I love it!

Huh eh? This ain't no cane sonny it's a T-21. I used to shoot uphill both ways and still get incapped by a kreetle, the nasty little buggers. We didn't have mounts then, much less speeders. Had to walk everywhere, I guess that is why I have to use my T-21 as a cane now. Oh well I am gonna go sit on the Rockin' chair if ya need me. Where's the nurse with my meds?

LOL....I was wondering where my Titles went when I dropped Master Swordsman/Master Brawler for Master Doc. I also wondered why my diploma had whiteout under my name. Well, use them in good health. Giving up MS/MB for MD was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make in this game, because I, too, dearly loved that build. But I got tired of getting poisoned and diseased, so MRM/MD is where I am staying.

Yeah...well, not since launch technically, but I only missed launch by two weeks. I started out as a rifleman and never looked back.
And beamstalk, you forgot that we had to use sticks for guns in those days, and we were glad to have them.

I don't think i can claim "since launch", but close. I had never played an MMORPG before, so I picked Scout so I could explore. Took be about a month to six weeks to understand what was going on. I went for Marksman almost immediately, but started with carbines and pistols first. After I picked up my first rifle and killed my first critter with it, I was hooked. Unfortunately it was "back in the day" and it took me several months to master.

Oh yeah, I forgot about waiting in line outside of Shabitz's weapon shop for the "new" laser rifles he had made.

First mastered in Sept when I started the game. Always wanted to be a sniper.

Here as well. Ranger/Rifleman temp at launch. Still same temp. Sad in some ways. Just to stubborn to give up what I worked hard for.
