Not really trying to start a panic or anything, but this definitely seems to be something us combat types would wanna know about. And given that SOE didn't warn us about the increased number of BAF critters with the last patch, it seems prudent to get the word out about this change in case they once again drop the ball.

Okay, I know that /firstaid will stop bleeding...

How does one combat disease? Are there levels in medic or doctor that you can reach that help?

Three ways to get rid of disease:

  • Doctor with at least 4 0 0 0 (4 0 0 1 to craft a disease pack)

  • TKA Meditation

  • Wait it out

Dying won't clear it?

Dying stops the progression of the disease, yes. Then you are simply stuck with a black HAM bar of wounds.

The More disease and poison creatures is in the patch notes that are posted in the Test Center forum.

For what its worth usually poisons and diseases give my MOBS are weaker than the ones dealt by the uber combat medics.

I got hit with a poison it only did about 60 health per tick, the disease i got hit with was really weak also. Maybe 5-10 health wounds a tick. I might have taken 100 wounds or so before it wore off.

CM poisons and diseases are a lot stronger than anything creatures have.

Same here. Imagine my surprise to discover that Giant Carrion Spats had become social...and you can't outrun 'em with /burstrun...and they always deathblow.

I can still get giant carrion spats to come single sometimes, then they gang bang on others...not sure what the trigger is yet.

The last few times I have been out with our group to Dathomir we fought creatures that used disease..this disease was immune to the disease packs our doctor had with her. Can doctors heal disease given by MOBS?
